In this role, the Field Engineer Apprentice will observe and perform various equipment service processes and procedures to drive customer satisfaction and ensure proper functionality of less complex equipment.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ With minimal supervision, as assigned, perform planned maintenance (PM), safety and environmental inspections and maintain effective customer relations.
+ Follow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol and complete necessary documentation.
+ Maintain daily communications with customers, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
+ You may need to assist more experienced technicians and FSE's on basic and complex repairs /resolution respectively.

**Qualifications/Requirements:**
+ Engineering Vocational Training or University Degree (biomedicine, telecommunications, electronics, industrial). *Completed in the past 3 years, and they must not have had this type of contract previously - The length of this contract is up to 12 months.
+ Proven experience performing in a compliance environment and working within code and procedures to ensure safe and effective operation of devices.
+ Proficiency in completing electronic documentation using PDA and computer skills.
+ Previous experience developing and maintaining good customer relations.
+ Willing to occasionally travel outside of assigned region plus a valid driving license
+ Spanish and English oral and written skills

In this role, the Field Engineer Apprentice will observe and perform various equipment service processes and procedures to drive customer satisfaction and ensure proper functionality of less complex equipment.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ With minimal supervision, as assigned, perform planned maintenance (PM), safety and environmental inspections and maintain effective customer relations.
+ Follow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol and complete necessary documentation.
+ Maintain daily communications with customers, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
+ You may need to assist more experienced technicians and FSE's on basic and complex repairs /resolution respectively.
+ Work as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area and document all actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule.
+ Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction.

**Qualifications/Requirements:**
+ Engineering Vocational Training or University Degree (biomedicine, telecommunications, electronics, industrial). *Completed in the past 3 years, and they must not have had this type of contract previously - The length of this contract is up to 12 months.
+ Proven experience performing in a compliance environment and working within code and procedures to ensure safe and effective operation of devices.
+ Proficiency in completing electronic documentation using PDA and computer skills.
+ Previous experience developing and maintaining good customer relations.
+ Willing to occasionally travel outside of assigned region plus a valid driving license

**Key Responsibilities**
**Clinical Education & International Clinical Management**
+ Define and lead the international clinical education strategy across regions, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with business priorities.
+ Develop, deploy, and continuously optimize clinical education programs addressing customer needs, care pathways, and evolving clinical practices.
+ Coordinate and align regional clinical leaders to ensure consistent execution of clinical education initiatives at international level.
+ Monitor clinical education outcomes and leverage insights to improve adoption, customer engagement, and clinical confidence.
**Third‑Party & Industry Partnerships**
+ Establish and manage strategic partnerships with third‑party organizations, including medical device companies, education providers, and clinical institutions.
+ Co‑develop joint educational initiatives, clinical programs, and content to enhance clinical credibility and market impact.
+ Ensure all partnerships comply with regulatory, ethical, and company standards while delivering measurable value.
**Clinical Alignment with Marketing & Competitive Strategy**
+ Act as the clinical partner to the Marketing Director and Marketing teams to ensure strong clinical alignment in go‑to‑market strategies.
+ Lead clinical input into competitive analysis, translating market and competitor insights into clear clinical value propositions.
+ Adapt and validate battle cards and competitive tools by integrating clinical arguments aligned to competitive products and customer decision drivers.
+ Support the optimization of win rate by ensuring sales teams are equipped with clinically relevant, differentiated, and credible competitive messaging.
**Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Strategy Execution**
+ Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to ensure clinical insights are integrated into product positioning, roadmap discussions, and launch strategies.
+ Communicate and monitor the execution and alignment of clinical strategies across international regions and zones.
+ Provide regular feedback to senior leadership on clinical priorities, competitive landscape, and education performance.

+ Senior profile with an experience in the medical industry
+ Experience in ultrasound & Cardiology
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ Willingness and ability to travel 50% of time
+ Valid motor vehicle license
+ Experience with interfacing with both internal team members, external customers and industrial group
+ Working level English
+ Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives

+ Établir et gérer des partenariats stratégiques avec des organisations tierces, notamment des fabricants de dispositifs médicaux, des organismes de formation et des institutions cliniques.
+ Co‑développer des initiatives éducatives conjointes, des programmes cliniques et des contenus visant à renforcer la crédibilité clinique et l'impact marché.
+ S'assurer que tous les partenariats respectent les exigences réglementaires, éthiques et les standards de l'entreprise, tout en générant une valeur mesurable.
**Alignement clinique avec le marketing et la stratégie concurrentielle**
+ Agir en tant que partenaire clinique du/de la Directeur(trice) Marketing et des équipes marketing afin d'assurer un fort alignement clinique des stratégies de mise sur le marché.
+ Piloter l'apport clinique aux analyses concurrentielles et traduire les informations marché et concurrentielles en propositions de valeur clinique claires.
+ Adapter et valider les battle cards et outils concurrentiels en intégrant des arguments cliniques alignés sur les produits concurrents et les critères de décision des clients.
+ Contribuer à l'optimisation du taux de gain en dotant les équipes commerciales de messages concurrentiels cliniquement pertinents, différenciants et crédibles.
**Collaboration transverse et exécution de la stratégie**
+ Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes Ventes, Marketing, Gestion de Produits et R&D afin d'intégrer les retours cliniques dans le positionnement produit, les discussions de roadmap et les stratégies de lancement.
+ Communiquer et suivre l'exécution et l'alignement des stratégies cliniques à travers les régions et zones internationales.
+ Fournir régulièrement à la direction des retours sur les priorités cliniques, le paysage concurrentiel et la performance des actions de formation.
**Qualifications requises**
+ Une certaine séniorité dans l'industrie du médical
+ Expérience en échographie et en cardiologie
+ Excellentes compétences de communication écrites et orales
+ Excellentes compétences organisationnelles
+ Disponibilité et capacité à voyager jusqu'à 50 % du temps
+ Permis de conduire valide
+ Expérience d'interaction avec des équipes internes, des clients externes et des groupes industriels
