Senior Software Engineer (Game Development Services)

Keywords Studios, we are delivering a strengthened Create service line
to our clients, combining the cross-functional expertise of our Game
Development and Art Services. Collaborating across our global
integrated network of 70+ studios, our talented Keywords teams deliver
the highest quality video game content, passionately building on
much-loved IPs as well as helping shape fresh content from the ground
up in partnership with our clients.
Forgotten Empires, a
Keywords Create studio, is a full-service game developer focused on
Windows PC games. While headquartered in the U.S., our team consists
of 80+ passionate individuals from around the globe, each of whom
brings a unique skill set and perspective to the table.
We are
now looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about
Real-time strategy games, mainly the "Age of Empires" franchise to
join the Forgotten Empires studios remotely in Europe.
Key
Responsibilities:
Working in a C++ codebase on a custom
(legacy) engine.
Generalist skillset, we’re not looking for a
specialized set of skills.
Maintain and develop features for the
game and the tools that go with it.
Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team on features.
Regularly debug, profile and
optimize code.
Requirements
Proven C++
experience
Experience working in a team environment.
B2 English
level – conversational and written.
Player/Development experience
with RTS games is a plus (especially Age of Empires)
You will be
asked to partake in a technical test to prove your
skills.
Location
Málaga, Spain OR Working remotely.
(EU/US time zones required)
