Requirements

  • Profundo conocimiento del sistema tributario español (IVA, IRPF, Impuesto de Sociedades) y, preferiblemente, de fiscalidad internacional.

Buscamos un/a Head of Legal – Iberia para liderar la función jurídica de una compañía multinacional del sector tecnológico.

**About the role**
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, cross-border transactions in the healthcare and life sciences sector, including data-driven and technology-enabled businesses. As a key part of the IQVIA M&A legal team, you will be providing legal support on a range of international corporate transactions. **Key responsibilities**
+ As part of the EMEA M&A legal team, provide high level advice and support on the lifecycle of M&A, joint venture, investment, internal reorganisations and other corporate transaction projects.
+ Deliver business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders on all matters related to corporate transactions including diligence, legal documentation and regulatory filings. Proactively identify potential legal risks and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend appropriate actions and/or mitigation strategies.
+ Collaborate with and facilitate decision-making across multiple internal stakeholders including the Corporate Development team.

+ Manage external counsel, where required, efficiently and effectively.

**Qualifications and experience**
+ Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in law, Juris Doctor or equivalent, with active license to practice law in applicable jurisdiction.
+ At least 6 years of relevant legal experience, specifically on cross-border M&A and corporate transactions across EMEA or globally, having trained and/or had post-qualification experience at an international law firm and/or in-house.

**Legal support of MedTech businesses in Spain with the following tasks:**

**Your Impact**
As a legal advisor for Sales in France, you will provide support on day-to-day operations and commercial engagements while partnering with management to interpret contractual provisions, offer risk assessments, and deliver solutions that support business objectives. You will draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements to ensure all terms align with corporate strategy and protect the interests of the organization. By integrating AI tools into your workflow, you will conduct legal research, streamline document reviews, and perform contract analysis with precision and speed. Additionally, you will coordinate the implementation of corporate legal policies to uphold standards of governance and compliance across regions. Finally, you will serve as a bridge between the legal department and internal team members, ensuring that legal processes remain scalable and adaptable to the evolving needs of the sales environment!
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Admitted to practice law, preferably in France, (Bar admission) and native-level proficiency in French
+ 5+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial and corporate law, obtained at a top law firm or a multinational corporate legal department.
+ Track record of drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts independently in both French and English
+ Fluency in French and English (additional European languages are a plus).
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience negotiating technology or telecommunications service agreements.
+ Knowledge of EU data protection laws, GDPR, and relevant security compliance frameworks.
+ Experience maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and audit trails to ensure regulatory readiness.
+ Deep knowledge of applicable law, particularly laws applicable to the IT sector.
+ Strong organizational skills with a proactive, independent, and detail-oriented approach.
+ Proven experience and proficiency in using AI-powered legal technology tools for day-to-day tasks and legal operations.

**_Principal Corporate Counsel, Environmental Sustainability Legal Team (EMEA)_**
**Meet the Team**
The Regulatory Affairs team within Cisco's Legal department is comprised of lawyers, operational specialists, program managers, engineers, and other experts focused on topics including privacy, global trade, cybersecurity, telecom, environmental sustainability, and various regulatory practice areas. The team's charter is aligned with influencing, interpreting, and implementing evolving and existing regulations that impact Cisco's business and interacting with external partners on these important topics. We partner with colleagues in Legal and functional teams across the company to drive impact.
**Your Impact**
This team is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal Corporate Counsel to provide regulatory guidance across a broad spectrum of EMEA environmental, supply chain, and product focused regulations. You will work closely with a wide range of cross-functional teams, including Sustainability, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Refresh, Legal, Government Affairs, Engineering, Workplace Resources and others. Your work will directly impact Cisco's ability to navigate increasingly complex legal landscapes in environmental sustainability and ensure unrestricted access to EMEA markets.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
+ Monitoring and interpreting applicable EMEA environmental sustainability regulations, standards, and directives, such as ROHS, REACH, WEEE, PFAS, EPR, ESPR, CSRD, and the EU Batteries Regulation
+ Driving Cisco's environmental compliance strategy and developing internal processes, policies, and procedures in furtherance of that compliance strategy
+ Developing and providing training and updates to key stakeholders on regulatory requirements and developments
+ Collaborating with cross-functional partners to integrate environmental sustainability compliance implementation requirements into product design and development processes
+ Partnering with Cisco's Government Affairs team to help influence existing and evolving regulations
+ Participating and engaging with industry associations
+ Partnering with colleagues in Legal to respond to regulators and enforcement agencies, as needed
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Qualified lawyer (LLB, JD, or equivalent) in any EU jurisdiction or the UK, with 7+ years' post-qualification experience in sustainability or related regulatory compliance fields.
+ In-depth knowledge of relevant environmental sustainability regulations.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
+ Proven track record to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop, deliver, and guide effective, efficient regulatory compliance strategies and programs
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Strong experience working in or with multinational corporations, preferably in technology sector.
+ Experience working with regulatory bodies and industry groups.
+ Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing AI-powered tools or intelligence platforms to conduct risk assessments and enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the ability to predict and mitigate compliance risks.
+ Excellent skills in written/verbal communication, time management, quantitative/analytical and process documentation
