Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality management strategies and policies.
  • Oversee all aspects of quality control and assurance throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality control professionals, fostering their development.
  • Conduct regular audits of production processes to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality from design to delivery.
  • Manage customer feedback and complaints related to product quality, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive change.
  • Experience with root cause analysis techniques and CAPA implementation.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product development lifecycles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with on-site responsibilities in Barcelona .
