We are looking for a **Project EHS Specialist** to drive and support Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities across Eaton's MED Cluster, based in **Zaragoza** . This role plays a key part in ensuring EHS compliance and excellence within strategic projects while supporting the deployment of EHS policies, procedures, and programs at both cluster and country level.
The position combines a strong project-oriented dimension with local operational support, requiring close collaboration with project teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to address EHS requirements and ensure adherence to legal and company standards. **What you'll do:**
+ Promote Eaton's Life Saving Rules, Zero Incident culture, and Ethics policy across all activities;
+ Ensure full compliance with EHS legal requirements, customer standards, and Eaton MESH guidelines;
+ Act as the main EHS interface with customers, contractors, and external stakeholders;
+ Support deployment of corporate MESH programs across projects and local operations;
+ Manage contractor EHS compliance, including ISN platform oversight, onboarding, and training delivery;
+ Lead EHS incident reporting, escalation, and root cause investigations with corrective/preventive actions;
+ Conduct regular site audits and field EHS inspections to ensure safe operations;
+ Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and partners to promote a safety-first culture.
**Projects scope (MED Cluster - 80%)**
+ Ensure EHS documentation compliance (RAMS, safety plans, certifications) through creation, review, and updates;
+ Plan and coordinate EHS activities throughout the full project lifecycle to meet key milestones;
+ Participate in project meetings with customers and internal teams, providing EHS expertise and updates;
+ Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors on project sites.
**Italy scope (Service & Sales - 20%)**
+ Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS management systems;
+ Monitor EHS performance (KPIs, dashboards) and drive follow-up on action plans
+ Deliver EHS communication, awareness campaigns, and training programs at local level.
**Qualifications:**
+ Recognized Health and Safety professional education in Spain (Máster Universitario en PRL);
+ Advantage: Master/ Engineering degree in relevant related subject;
+ Advantage: Project management certificate/ course.
**Skills:**
+ 3+ years of experience in EHS program management within industrial or service project environments;
+ Proven experience in a similar EHS role with strong project management capabilities;
+ Solid knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and corporate frameworks (e.g., MESH);
+ Expertise in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and EHS performance management;
+ Strong understanding of safety leadership, behavioral safety practices (e.g., coaching, ABC model), and culture development;
+ Subject matter expertise in at least one EHS discipline (Safety, Environmental, Occupational Health, or Systems);
+ Fluency in Spanish and advanced English; Italian is a plus;
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills;
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities, work cross-functionally, and build strong team collaboration;
+ Proficiency with digital tools (Office 365, Power BI, PowerApps) and a continuous improvement mindset.

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, safety, and process safety management systems within the Animal Nutrition business in Spain. The role serves as a subject matter resource on EHS matters, promoting safe, compliant, and sustainable operational practices. Working in partnership with site leadership and stakeholders, the EHS Specialist helps ensure alignment with company policies, procedures, programs, standards, and applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Act as the legal representative for Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) matters for the Animal Nutrition business in Spain, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and supporting interactions with relevant authorities.
+ Support the Plant Manager in maintaining effective relationships with local communities, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders, contributing to a positive organizational reputation.
+ Support the implementation of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and assist in monitoring, testing, and evaluating EHS performance.
+ Collaborate with regional and country EHS teams to support site impact assessments and the management of operating and construction permits.

They are the first line contact for the field service engineers as they manage day to day EHS issues in service work, and the tasks are related to training, inspections, customer interaction around planning and job.
**Job Description**
+ To interpret Laws, Regulations and Procedures, considering all relevant local / national EHS standards in the organization
+ This role is part of "Servicio de Prevención Mancomunado" for GE Wind Energy, S.L. / GE Renovables España, S.L. in Spain. It applies to Fixed Facilities, Project & Service operations and Office.
+ Prepare EHS Documentation for products and processes if needed and review any other documents prepared by other areas to provide EHS assessment.
+ Ensure customer EHS requirements are being properly followed to guarantee the access of GE Vernova employees and contractors to the customer site.
+ Update, support, develop and implement site procedures and develop updates when needed according to GE Vernova management system processes and procedures and local regulation.
+ Regularly review the sites Emergency Plan, ensuring all required materials and equipment is in place, where required it is tested, and the persons required to use it are trained.

+ Conduct EHS trainings and awareness sessions to all personnel in the assigned areas, adapting terminology and language as necessary to ensure proper learning and knowledge transfer.
+ Ensure periodical EHS meetings are held in all levels to involve the organization and , facilitating the preparation and formally recording information, supporting and facilitating the preparation.
+ Identify best management practices that may be of use to other sites and communicate these to the EHS and service team.
+ Ensure that the risk assessment/JSA is communicated to anyone who is involved or could be affected by the task before the task begins.
+ Be the advisor and guide to site managers on deployment of EHS strategy, relevant changes in the regulations, and initiatives to improve performance in EHS.
+ Follow up and communicate local EHS metric per established schedules, supporting site managers in its interpretation

**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ **Technical background in electricity, mechanical, etc.**
+ **Locally Professional master's degree EHS (Técnico Superior PRL with 3 technical qualifications in Ergonomic, Industrial Hygiene and Safety at Work).**
+ Physical condition and fitness to climb a wind turbine.
+ Good knowledge and understanding of local and other region rules/regulations framework, interactions between authorities.
+ Good knowledge of Microsoft office, web-based tools.
+ Technical Expert level in technical EHS specific knowledge.
+ Technical skills: Skilled level in EHS Risk Assessment, EHS Guidelines and Processes, EHS Audits and Assessments, Regulatory Compliance, Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis and EHS Management System; Process development and optimization, continuous improvement and lean, awareness level in Security and Crisis Management.
+ Soft Skills: Skilled level in Influence and communication, resilience and change management, performance, resources and conflict management, Employee relations and team engagement, vision and goals setting and analytical problem solving.
+ Language: Fluent English skills, Spanish.
+ Experience: 5 years of experience in wind field operations and/or EHS, ideally in wind business

**Job Summary:**
The Site EHS Specialist I is a key member of our EHS Team and a critical partner for our operational site teams at planning, project execution and post outage review stage. The Field EHS Specialist I is responsible for supporting with the creation and execution of a comprehensive EHS plan on our operational site, that drives the best-in-class standards of EHS and sustainability.
The objective of this role is to observe, advise, coach and support those with operational responsibilities during planning phase and on-site execution, to prevent injuries, help drive accountability and remain in compliance with company/client EHS policies, programs, and procedures alongside country legislative standards.
The field EHS team are central to the adoption, communication, and implementation of injury preventative EHS initiatives and campaigns to reiterate our NO HARM culture.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Partner with the operational team in all matters related to EHS Planning, On Site Execution and Outage Close out for lower complexity outage scopes / customer sites or in support to a Senior EHS Specialist in a high complexity scope / customer site, as assigned by your Resource Manager depending on work demand, competency, and availability
+ **Outage Planning - Remove and mitigate Risk Pre-Deployment**
+ Contribute to outage planning and Outage Readiness Reviews (ORR). Clearly communicating the EHS needs with the project team and manage all compliance activities, including the implementation of in-country legislation and Gas Power OFS EHS programs
+ Consult with Service Manager, Lead Field Engineer, Outage Manager and Customer on any potential workplace and task-specific hazards (and the control of such hazards) such as Asbestos, Lead, Arsenic, and Hexavalent Chrome, which may impact the work scope
+ Facilitate site walkdowns to ensure strong planning that includes access/egress/laydown areas
+ Ensure medical preparedness and that facilities are readily available for all employees. Ensure that records are properly maintained
+ **Mobilization Phase**
+ Develop and maintain the One Field Services (OFS) EHS Plan, including current Risk Management tools (such as Outage Risk Profile) for each outage in collaboration with the Service Manager and/or Outage Manager. Provide support to communicate and manage all sections of the plan
+ Establish and monitor adherence to workers work-rest cycle (rest and recovery plan) schedule
+ Manage required compliance activities, including the implementation of in-country legislation and OFS current EHS programs
+ Confirm submission of all required site documents prior to outage team arrival
+ Deliver relevant project specific EHS training, including site induction/orientation training for craft and field crew as well as visitors to ensure that all personnel are informed of site safe working procedures, customer requirements, and practices to fulfill their responsibilities. Ensure records of attendance are maintained
+ Complete the security plan (non-US group I & II country safety plans) and verify with Security Team
+ **On Site Execution**
+ Drive the implementation of OFS EHS Plan, standards, and procedures at site
+ Observe and monitor progress of work to coach and advise our on-site teams to ensure:
+ The correct Field Procedures are being used
+ Identification of hazardous work practices and hazardous conditions associated with tasks - to proactively coach teams when there are gaps in risk control
+ Meaningful hazard prevention and control conversation are held and facilitated by point of work risk assessment tools (such as Task Risk Assessments)
+ Continually coach and reinforce the need of peer checks on site to prevent human error and injury
+ Host "Tool Box" talks, safety meetings, orientations, and training ensuring the team understands the hazards associated with the scope of work and maintain the relevant records

**Required Qualifications & Experience** :

**Funciones y Responsabilidades:**
+ Coordinar y ejecutar las tareas relacionadas con el sistema. Por ejemplo:- Documentación y mantenimiento de la arquitectura del sistema dentro de su ciclo de vida.- Revisión documental de los procesos de administración de aplicaciones (AAP).- Ejecución, verificación y comprobación del funcionamiento del sistema de back-up de datos (PBA) y del procedimiento de recuperación (PRE).- Verificación y comprobación de la copia imagen de los sistemas.- Gestión de cambios en el sistema, incluyendo todos sus componentes:

The BPI Lead will report to the Sr Manager of of Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement.The role will include responsibility for the creation and delivery of best-in-class process improvement methodology and associated process training throughout the organization. This role has high visibility with Executive management and requires mature leadership as well as strong change management skills. The priorities of this role will be defined by the Sr Dir. Business Transformation, Global Payroll and will be in line with the strategy of the organization.

+ Execute the BPI strategy and drive the roadmap of the key initiatives focusing on client & associate engagement, standardization, simplification and automation, utilizing proven process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma

+ Data-driven mindset - comfortable managing environmental KPIs and reporting through centralised systems.
+ Strong knowledge of environmental and occupational health & safety regulations.
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects from identification through to implementation.
