Best Hotels, a Spanish hotel chain with establishments in Spain, Andorra and the Dominican Republic, is selecting a BOOKING AGENT for a Holiday Hotel in the Costa Ballena area (Cádiz).
FUNCTIONS TO BE PERFORMED:
• Attention and treatment of reservations for individuals and professionals (via telephone and email).
• Room quota control and management.
• Pick up control and rate review.
• Credit control and prepayment of individual and group reservations.
• Inform management and other departments about the evolution of hotel occupancy in order to anticipate possible changes in occupancy that may substantially affect occupancy.
• Support the reception team in check-in, check-out, counter assistance and billing tasks.
• Management, coordination and billing of groups with the reception department.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
• At least 1 year in a similar position in high-volume hotels.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCES:
• Qualification: Higher Education Cycle or Diploma in Tourism.
• Advanced level of English is essential and a second language (German or French) is highly valued. IF THE LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT IS NOT MET: DO NOT APPLY FOR THE OFFER.
• Knowledge of channel manager management, experience in Dingus valued.
• Possibility of working split shifts and weekends.
• Advanced handling of the Office package, mainly Excel.
• Motivated person, with initiative, proactive and ability to adapt to high-volume hotels.
• Positive and enthusiastic person, organized and decisive, active and disciplined with a clear customer and service orientation and with teamwork skills.
• Residence in the area.
