We are looking for a Customs Coordinator to join our Operations team.

Reporting to the Head of Transport, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant flow of goods across international borders by managing all customs-related activities.

What will be your challenge?
  • Customs documentation and processes: Manage all required customs clearance documentation for both incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring full compliance with local and international customs regulations, including tariff classifications, valuation, and duty calculations.
  • Continuous improvement & updating of customs processes: Regularly review and refine customs procedures to enhance efficiency. Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations, tax laws, and other relevant rules, ensuring that internal processes are updated accordingly.
  • Analyze performance and optimize customs procedures: Evaluate customs clearance data and performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop strategies to strengthen the company’s customs clearance operations and adopt the most cost-efficient procedures per country.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of all customs activities, ensuring compliance and facilitating audits.
  • Collaborate with customs authorities and stakeholders: Work closely with customs authorities, agents, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely clearance of goods.
  • Monitor and enhance operational performance: Evaluate courier performance, optimize service levels, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
What will make you succeed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customs processes (import, export, classification).
  • Official customs representative title is desirable.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in office software.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret legal regulations and standards.
  • Proactive and able to work independently with a focus on continuous improvement.
