Master Data Management Specialist (m/f/d)based in ValenciaYour responsibilities
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Master Data Management Specialist to join our team in Valencia. If you thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment and have solid experience with SAP and ERP systems, this can be your next career move.Main responsibility (ensure, monitor and optimize quality) for the General Master Data within the ERP systemDefine and implement Master Data processes and clear structure to ensure data quality and integrityMaintain and update general Master Data, with a strong focus on material master recordsFirst contact for SAP Master Data creation/information for all SAP (key) usersResponsibility for maintenance of Master Data:
cleaning up, archiving and maintaining the actual Master Data, so the Master Data is always up to dateCoordinate material Master data setup and validations with applicable cross functional departments ensuring data quality and integrity is maintainedExecute changes to SAP Master Data (customer, material, BOM, routing, supplier level, etc.) as approved by the business to create, change, delete, extend, flag for deletion or otherwise notedCollaborate with business units and key users to resolve data issues efficientlyPlan and execute Master Data projectsAnalysis, adjustment and documentation of General Master Data processesDevelop Master Data governance and ensure compliance to itYour profile
Bachelor’s degree in business informatics, Science, or related discipline requiredExperience in central Master Data ManagementExperience in working in ERP environment in one of the domains (MD, PP, MRP)Professional working experience with SAPIdeally good knowledge of processes in a manufacturing businessIndependent, autonomous, structured and process-oriented way of workingAnalytical and conceptual thinkingGood understanding of business and its processes in relation to ERPHigh Level of Accuracy & Attention to detailGood listening and communication skillsSelf-starter and hands-on mentalityStrong reliability and team abilityHigh commitment and flexibilityHigh customer and service orientation and quality awarenessAbility to work well with cross functional teamsStrong Office 365 skillsExcellent knowledge of SAP Master Data like materials, vendors, customers, workcenters, Bill of materials, routingsFluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken (German language skills a plus)Willingness to travel to production plantsWhat we offer
