You will own the full analytical and modeling lifecycle, from analyzing content and building gold-standard benchmarks, to developing the next generation of our relevance, ranking, and query understanding models.
This role is for a natural problem-solver who combines scientific rigor with product intuition, and who is passionate about seeing their insights directly translate into a smarter, more intuitive search experience.

What You'll Be Doing
- Become an Expert on Content: Dive deep into our vast corpus of documents, understanding its intrinsic properties. Build and maintain benchmark datasets, to serve as the core for all our improvements and initiatives.
- Translate Query Intent into Search intelligence: Work on the development of our query understanding capabilities. Develop and fine-tune a range of efficient Language Models for specialized tasks related to content enrichment and query understanding, such as Named Entity Recognition or topic classification.
- Build Advanced Relevance Features: Architect the features and models that power our core ranking and re-ranking systems, using insights derived from deep content and query analysis.
- Own the Science of Search Evaluation: Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making. You will design and analyze offline experiments and tests to prove the impact of our work and guide the product roadmap.
- Collaborate on Product Strategy: Act as a strategic partner to Product Managers and Engineers. Gather and analyse user feedback, identifying their information needs. Your analysis and insights will be critical in identifying new opportunities and shaping the future direction of our search and discovery products.
What We're Looking For
- A Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (e.G., Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics) and 4+ years of professional experience in data science with a focus on Search or Recommender Systems.
- A proven track record of working on search relevance, ranking, query understanding or solving closely-related NLP problems.
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience building, fine-tuning, and evaluating a range of language models for specific tasks like classification, NER, and semantic similarity.
- Experience in experimental design and statistical analysis. Expertise in creating evaluation datasets and developing relevance guidelines. You know how to ask the right questions and how to design experiments that provide clear, statistically significant answers.
- A talent for structuring ambiguous problems and applying logical reasoning, translating complex challenges into clear, actionable plans.
- High proficiency in Python and data science libraries (e.G., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Hugging Face) and familiarity with SQL or other query languages.
- The ability to distill complex findings into clear, concise insights for diverse audiences, from engineers to executives. You are a collaborator by nature.

Role Mission: Provide operational support for global pharmacovigilance activities related to Grifols' investigational and marketed products. Ensure high-quality pharmacovigilance deliverables that comply with global regulatory reporting timelines. Manage project implementation and execution of safety systems, including ongoing business support and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead research and prototyping of novel AI techniques, including GenAI and LLMs, for banking use cases.

Job Title: Senior Manager – Total Rewards & Data Analysis
Location: Madrid, Spain
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days remote
About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Total Rewards Senior Manager/Lead to lead the design, implementation, and management of compensation, benefits, and mobility programs across our global footprint.
Based in Poland / Spain and reporting to the Global Head of HR, this role will play a key part in shaping our Total Rewards strategy to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
This role requires a strong background in compensation and benefits, deep analytical capability, and the ability to lead projects and drive change in a dynamic, multi-regional environment.
You will work closely with HR, Finance, and senior leadership to ensure reward programs are aligned with business objectives, competitive in the market, and compliant globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage global Total Rewards programs, including compensation structures, benefits, and international mobility.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of compensation and benefits systems/tools, collaborating with HRIS and vendors.
- Conduct benchmarking and market analyses to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices across multiple regions.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to advise on pay, benefits, and mobility matters, ensuring consistency and strategic alignment.
- Support and manage the annual compensation cycle (salary review, bonus planning, benefits renewals).
- Oversee employee mobility cases, including relocations, assignments, and related cost modeling and compliance.
- Contribute to change management initiatives, ensuring reward strategies support business transformation and employee engagement.
- Monitor global trends, legal developments, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver clear communications to stakeholders regarding reward programs, changes, and guidelines.
- Foster strong collaboration with HRBPs, Talent, Finance, and Legal teams globally.
Essential Skills & Experience :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 8 – 10 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards / Compensation & Benefits roles within multinational environments.
- Solid experience with global compensation structures, benefits strategy, and international mobility.
- Experience in deploying or enhancing HR tools and compensation systems (e.g., Workday, Success Factors, Mercer and other tools).
- Strong data analysis and benchmarking skills using market data providers (e.g., Mercer, WTW).
- Proven ability to manage projects and respond quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and consultative approach.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong Systems & Data Analytics.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong plus.
