Responsibilities- Develop responsive, accessible front-end code using HTML, CSS/SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Build and extend custom themes, templates, and Gutenberg blocks within WordPress VIP.
- Collaborate with marketers and designers to deliver visually precise and high-performing websites from mockups and prototypes.
- Partner with the marketing team to scope, prioritize, and implement new features and campaign landing pages.
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-device compatibility and performance optimization.
- Integrate structured content and custom fields via WordPress APIs and CMS admin tools.
- Apply WCAG accessibility standards and mobile-first development principles.
- Contribute to internal component libraries and uphold coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve the marketing website post-launch.
- Stay up to date with evolving front-end technologies, marketing automation integrations, and the WordPress ecosystem.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in front-end development on CMS-driven, responsive websites.
- Proven expertise in WordPress VIP, including deployment workflows and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience building custom Gutenberg blocks (React-based).
- Proficiency in semantic HTML5, SCSS/SASS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- React experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git / GitHub workflows.
- Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues, especially marketers and content creators.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, responsive design, and mobile-first development.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools for smooth designer/developer handoff.

This role contributes to the programming output of the team or project area. They will undertake development and testing of standard modules and make amendments to more complex modules. In addition, they will provide a degree of mentoring for more junior staff members.

Web Developer JobDescription
This role contributes to the programming output of the team or project area. They will undertake development and testing of standard modules and make amendments to more complex modules. In addition, they will provide a degree of mentoring for more junior staff members.
Software Development & Maintenance
- Implement accurate, reliable and timely code according to specifications to deliver functionality.
- Design and implement unit tests to validate that functionality is correctly implemented.
- Writing appropriate level documentation that meets development process standards
- Review of other people’s code
Technical Design
- Participate in component and software design with Architects and Senior Engineers, providing input to component and software design documentation.
- Involved in solution design to better understand the overall technical vision of Experian products.
- Contributes to understanding business needs and converting them to technical requirements and specifications.
Personal Development
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of personal development plan to achieve personal growth targets.
- Actively seeks to share gained knowledge within the team.
- Share findings with peers from other teams and management where required.
Teamwork
- Share findings with peers from other teams and management where required.
- Use corporate tools for time logging, holiday and daily work backup.
- Provide regular reporting to line manager, project managers, and other relevant stakeholders.

- Contribute to the creation of standards and processes for their domain.
Responsibilities
Below are some of the responsibilities are expected to assume in their position:
- Create, design, and implement layouts for new and existing web pages
- Maintain legacy code written by other developers, including bug fixes
- Perform database queries and connect results to applications
- Integrate external software libraries and APIs into existing projects
- This role requires high-level knowledge in Web Analytics (strategy, requirements, implementation, validation, reporting) specifically with Google Analytics. SEO knowledge is also required
