Important Multinational Company in the Renewable Energy Production and Generation Sector is Seeking a Quality Project Engineer

Position Mission: The Quality Project Engineer will assist the site manager in quality control for all project activities. The engineer will be part of the QHSE team and will report to the QHSE Manager and the Project Manager (PM).

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate and coordinate with the construction team.
  2. Ensure that quality, HSE, and environmental requirements, including site reporting and record-keeping, are maintained and met by on-site staff and subcontractors.
  3. Establish detailed guidelines on what should be inspected and the applicable quality standards.
  4. Inspect components and materials supplied by Goldwind to identify defects and report deviations.
  5. Prepare checklists and follow up on deviations upon receiving components.
  6. Prepare checklists and follow up on deviations at different stages of wind turbine installation for partial and final customer approvals.
  7. Prepare failure reports, draft NCRs, record them in FEMS or other applications, and follow up on corrective actions until closure; gather and summarize site information to draft a one-page report.
  8. Generate KPIs to identify improvements and process/flow deviations.
  9. Support the construction team in resolving disputes or conflicts.
  10. Oversee the work of contractor companies, ensuring strict adherence to occupational safety, quality guidelines, manuals, and work instructions.
  11. Deliver inductions to all on-site personnel, including subcontractors and visitors. Attend client meetings.
  12. Participate in and coordinate daily follow-up meetings with the work team.
  13. Conduct or participate in relevant quality communications, such as regional/wind farm/project quality meetings, quality campaigns, and global quality meetings.
  14. Perform inspections on wind turbines, organize, drive, and carry out quality inspections at different phases, and draft quality inspection reports.
  15. Assist/Lead in certification processes for standards when necessary.
  16. Availability to travel and visit other projects.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Previous experience of at least 3-5 years in similar roles.
