Responsibilities
  • Read given material and research industry-specific terminology
  • Convert text and audio recordings from one language to one or more others
  • Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
  • Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations
  • Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation
  • Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
  • Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
  • Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)
  • Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practices
Requirements and skills
  • Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
  • Fluency in at least two languages in addition to your native language
  • Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
  • Good knowledge of content editing tools
  • Familiarity with translation software
  • Time-management skills
  • BSc in Translation, Interpreting or similar field
  • Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus

What You'll Work On

  • Design and implement services and components utilizing Go for cloud-based platforms

  • Collaborate directly with InfoSec to design and implement secure solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals and experience with software development

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent field of study required.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience (+5 years) of application development experience in the following areas: Oracle (Sql / PLSql), Oracle APEX, Oracle Workflow , BI Publisher, OAF.
  • Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of experience in Oracle Quote to Cash environment.
  • A team player with strong technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, works independently. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explaining difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
  • Fluent English and Spanish

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – couple of trips per year

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

The Territory Manager will support Cepheid Iberia in achieving commercial goals and help Cepheid customers to fully understand and utilize the clinical benefits/impact of Cepheid technology and products. The role involves working closely with the sales team to develop pre- and post-sales strategies, support newly launched products, and boost assay utilization. Engaging with Clinicians and also influencing the Microbiology stakeholders . This position is part of the Commercial Sales Department and is a remote position based in Andalucía. The TM will be responsible of growing the business at Hospital level in the area of Andalucía.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Drive sales strategies and execution to achieve commercial goals in Andalucía
  • Educate and train clinical stakeholders on the impact and use of Cepheid products. 
  • Develop strong relationships with clinicians and key opinion leaders to drive advocacy. 
  • Create and support business opportunities through clinical engagement and product demonstrations. 
  • Collaborate with Medical and Scientific Affairs on clinical case studies and product positioning. 
  • Stay current with clinical data and healthcare guidelines to inform strategy and communication. 
  • Partner with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, and Field Application Specialists to optimize customer experience. 

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • MSc or PhD degree Physician, Clinical Pharmacist, Clinical Laboratory Sciences subspecialty (Microbiology, Molecular biology), or Infectious Diseases OR Nursing degree in field 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the Spanish healthcare market 
  • Proven knowledge in Microbiology, Molecular biology & Infectious Diseases.
  • Knowledge in Hematology / Oncology is a plus.
  • Clinical experience including evidence of implementing change in hospital/healthcare environments. 
  • Excellent Selling, communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

The Service Engineer Digital Technologies for Leica Biosystems is responsible for delivering, promoting and selling high quality technical service within geographical area of responsibility, including EU if required, with the objective of achieving customer satisfaction whilst obtaining individual or team revenue and KPI targets.

The responsibility of the position holder is service and maintenance along with troubleshooting and commissioning of the laboratory instruments in the Leica Biosystems portfolio, focusing on configuration and implementation of Imaging Solutions, network devices and remote services.

Visit customers for installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, fault analysis and upgrades in order to achieve high customer satisfaction and ensure a professional repair in due time with effective, efficient & safe work practices. Provide phone and remote support to reduce customer downtime. Perform root cause analysis in the field or in the business / manufacturing unit.

Be the local expert and go-to person for other FSE’s in the region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Visit customers to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and upgrades to achieve optimum customer care and ensure a professional repair in due time with effective and efficient working practices contributing to team goals/KPI’s.
  • On-site installation of Imaging Solutions, including configuration of network requirements. 
  • Deliver accurate reporting, handling and timely submission of Salesforce reports, Expenses, Stock management and other relevant service documentation/process transactions.
  • Work in close collaboration with DP product specialist EMEA, Business Unit and other LBS Field Service team, to improve reliability and feedback insights on Imaging Solutions technical support.
  • Co-operate closely with and support the sales team with tasks such as basic training for customers, installations, demonstrations and setting up systems on the customer network
  • Exchange valuable information resulting from customer contacts to increase customer satisfaction. Document customer information with the CRM & Service management systems in a timely manner. Collect, update & distribute knowledge with the product specialists.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Experience in Field Service or a related field, preferred on medical devices

  • Knowledge of network configuration and setup such as firewalls and TCP/IP networking

  • Experience with Windows Server, Linux, VM’s and working knowledge of SQL.

  • Knowledge of Digital Pathology Integration solutions and software installations advantageous

  • Proven ability to learn independently in technical areas and build experience

Travel: Must be able to travel approximately 50 % of the time primarily within the region, this will vary depending on requirements. Overnight travel may be required
