Responsibilities- Read given material and research industry-specific terminology
- Convert text and audio recordings from one language to one or more others
- Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
- Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations
- Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
- Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
- Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)
- Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practices
- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
- Fluency in at least two languages in addition to your native language
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors

What You'll Work On
- Design and implement services and components utilizing Go for cloud-based platforms
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and integrate with APIs that empower to share and utilize their medical data in partner systems
- Design and implement unit testable code that are highly maintainable
- Collaborate directly with InfoSec to design and implement secure solutions
- Collaborate with both internal and external team members to to shape and define API contracts

Required Qualifications

The EMEA DBS Service Leader will have responsibility for developing and driving the DBS roadmap in the EMEA service, driving the use of DBS fundamental and growth tools across all regions in Europe.
This position will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Service VP EMEA, supporting decision-making processes and contributing to the successful execution of key priorities.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, problem solving and process improvement capabilities in a commercial environment. The individual will need to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization in service, R&D, sales and other functions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Drive targeted, sustainable improvements impacting P&L and other metrics (CVDs, QDCI that are tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging DBS tools, consulting skills, and the change management process
- Assist EMEA service Leadership in driving Continuous Improvement and deloping of a DBS Roadmap (i.e., how to use the DBS tools to drive sustainable improvement in results)
- Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching, including coaching of senior leaders and other DBSLs
- Facilitate other DBS training sessions when appropriate (other trainers and consultants from Danaher, Shingijutsu or other)
- Be an active Leader in PD and Daily Management reviews (as appropriate) and being the liaison with Global Service DBS
- Help Danaher continue the evolution of the DBS tools (main contact here is DBS Office or DBSO)
- Ensure successful kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process
- Promote and facilitate diagnosis of inefficiencies throughout the business, and provide expert counsel on appropriate DBS tools to eliminate them
- Improve DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in DBS tools (MBB process for self and others).Promote and facilitate associate development in various DBS tools and kaizen leadership
- Evaluate and approve Associates for DBS certification.

The Person:
- BS or BA Degree in Business, Science or Engineering required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Appropriate practitioner experience in Service and post-sales support area.
- Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “Customer Service Leadership” point of view
- Mastery of a variety of DBS tools (either Lean, Service Engine or Growth-related DBS Tools, depending on areas(s) they support) with superior training, consulting and influencing skills

The ultimate objective is, to support customers throughout the entire customer journey whilst growing core reagent and product sales through market intelligence.
The Application Consultant will provide applications support and training, perform demonstrations of Leica Biosystems instruments to customers in their defined territory, ensuring Leica Biosystems products have maximum “uptime” through optimization of reagents and systems and therefore retain customers to generate reagent order intake.
The role will work in close conjunction with the entire (local) Leica Biosystems team to provide optimal customer support with demonstrations, tender responses, sales growth and margin. The role will assist in increasing market share through effective promotion and selling efforts and by defending achieved market share against competition.
Major Responsibilities:
Reagents Sales: Generate and develop sales and product awareness of Leica Biosystems product portfolio directly through customer visits & product information, samples and customer trials.
Follow-up new leads generated by marketing activities, product presentations & workshops. In conjunction with the Account Manager, plan and implement sales initiatives in order to address specific tactical and/or strategic business needs. Record and actively manage activities in Salesforce.com.
Customer Acquisition and business development: Collaborate with Account Manager in researching and identifying potential new customers in line with strategic directives in order to generate sales and to expand the Leica Biosystems customer base. Key areas to target include current Leica Biosystems users, users of non-Leica Biosystems platforms, Clinical and Research customers. Identify and qualify opportunities to offer consumables and reagents with instrumentation to further increase sales in new market segments. Lead and perform retention visits to key accounts. Record all activities as requested by the (local) management.
Demo/Negotiations & Support : In collaboration with the entire (local) Leica Biosystems team, initiate and coordinate demos of Leica Biosystems products at customer sites. Lead customer visits for demonstration at LBS Facilities. Participate in seminars and meetings as necessary in order to promote existing and new products to customers in line with the existing promotional programs and strategies.
Perform or assist during value stream mapping projects in order to promote existing and new products to customers, addressing their specific needs.
Market & Competitors Research: Supply information on market share development, competitor’s activities, trends and market developments in geographic region of responsibility to Sales Management and Marketing. Record customer contacts as requested by the (local) management in the relevant CRM systems.
Training and Support: Performing customer training directly in the demonstration of:
•Instrument use
•Software functionality
•Protocol development for the customer
•Leica Biosystems consumable products
•Provide application support, with a commercial awareness, to customers as required including in-field troubleshooting of application problems and diagnosing rudimentary hardware and software failures

The Dispatch Specialist at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of service technicians, managing logistics, and ensuring a quick and efficient service delivery to our clients.

The Service Engineer Digital Technologies for Leica Biosystems is responsible for delivering, promoting and selling high quality technical service within geographical area of responsibility, including EU if required, with the objective of achieving customer satisfaction whilst obtaining individual or team revenue and KPI targets.
The responsibility of the position holder is service and maintenance along with troubleshooting and commissioning of the laboratory instruments in the Leica Biosystems portfolio, focusing on configuration and implementation of Imaging Solutions, network devices and remote services.
Visit customers for installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, fault analysis and upgrades in order to achieve high customer satisfaction and ensure a professional repair in due time with effective, efficient & safe work practices. Provide phone and remote support to reduce customer downtime. Perform root cause analysis in the field or in the business / manufacturing unit.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Visit customers to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and upgrades to achieve optimum customer care and ensure a professional repair in due time with effective and efficient working practices contributing to team goals/KPI’s.
- On-site installation of Imaging Solutions, including configuration of network requirements.
- Deliver accurate reporting, handling and timely submission of Salesforce reports, Expenses, Stock management and other relevant service documentation/process transactions.
- Work in close collaboration with DP product specialist EMEA, Business Unit and other LBS Field Service team, to improve reliability and feedback insights on Imaging Solutions technical support.
- Co-operate closely with and support the sales team with tasks such as basic training for customers, installations, demonstrations and setting up systems on the customer network
- Exchange valuable information resulting from customer contacts to increase customer satisfaction. Document customer information with the CRM & Service management systems in a timely manner. Collect, update & distribute knowledge with the product specialists.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Experience in Field Service or a related field, preferred on medical devices
Knowledge of network configuration and setup such as firewalls and TCP/IP networking
Experience with Windows Server, Linux, VM’s and working knowledge of SQL.
Knowledge of Digital Pathology Integration solutions and software installations advantageous
Proven ability to learn independently in technical areas and build experience
Travel: Must be able to travel approximately 50 % of the time primarily within the region, this will vary depending on requirements. Overnight travel may be required
