RESPONSIBILITIES :

- As the ‘right hand’ of the Vice President, you will act as the central connector among our teams; Consumer, Vendor, Creative, CRM, Insights, and Media - helping to align workflows and streamline processes to maximize impact. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to enhance operational processes, implement change management strategies, and champion a culture of continuous improvement. - You will not be alone in this role. You will be supported by our Consumer Strategy & Operations Associate, and our Vendor Strategy & Operations Associate. These roles are already established within each team, and own the campaign execution process. The expectation is that you will provide senior support, coaching, and guidance to help them refine and define their processes and scope.
SUCCESSFUL STRATEGY & OPERATIONS LEAD CANDIDATES HAVE :
- 5+ years in brand strategy or planning role
- Ability to synthesize information to develop understanding of key insights
- Expert communicator able to tailor message to a range of audiences and markets
- Proven experience in strategic marketing at both the enterprise / brand and product portfolio level
- Experience in media strategy and marketing analytics.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail
- Proficiency in SQL & Excel / Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting

Candidates should display considerable competence in project management skills, comfortable working on multiple projects and to tight deadlines, as well as strong written and verbal communications, and good attention to detail. The Strategy & Operations Lead will ensure teams have a single source of truth for company, market, and campaign data; work with the VP to translate data into strategic guidance; and develop internal processes and systems for efficient operation.

Responsibilities:- Own data, measurement, and reporting systems to support decision-making and marketing strategies. Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs, design measurement frameworks, and translate campaign data into insights for brand awareness, customer acquisition, and lifetime value. Manage data collection, analysis, and presentation, crafting narratives that align stakeholders.
- Require strong knowledge of Google Sheets, a growth mindset to learn internal data tools, ability to correlate metrics, and identify trends and influences.
- Work with data science, creative, and channel marketing teams to ensure campaigns are underpinned by accurate, real-time analytics and post-campaign analysis. Bring clarity to complex data in a fast-paced environment, helping scale impact.
- Lead team operations by managing key meetings such as weekly leadership, monthly ‘All Hands,’ and supporting the annual Marketing Summit. Act as the central connector among teams—Consumer, Vendor, Creative, CRM, Insights, and Media—aligning workflows and streamlining processes.
- Support and coach the Consumer and Vendor Strategy & Operations Associates, refining their processes and scope. Identify operational improvements, implement change management, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- 5+ years in brand strategy or planning roles

The candidate will cover a range of Marketing services specifically across 54’s portfolio of Brand and Destination clients, forging relationships, and consulting with key clients to develop and drive forward the delivery of agreed marketing strategies, in addition to some of our events in the region. As part of developing and rolling out key Marketing strategies on each account, the role will also entail liaising with the Marketing division’s specialist teams, which includes Advertising, Brand and Creative, Earned Media, social media, and Content.
The successful candidate will be based in the 54 offices in Sotogrande, with a focus on servicing clients across Europe. An understanding and passion for sport, particularly the game of golf, alongside a general understanding of the golf media landscape is preferred, and a marketing background essential. Candidates should display considerable competence in project management skills, comfortable working on multiple projects and to tight deadlines, as well as strong written and verbal communications, and good attention to detail. The candidate should also be adept across all Microsoft Office applications.
