- Machinery Product & Pricing Data Architecture: Design and manage a robust data architecture for machinery products and pricing, ensuring accurate representation of components, assemblies, and cost structures across systems.
- Configuration Data Modeling: Develop and align configuration data models across CPQ, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and ERP (e.g., SAP) solutions to ensure consistency, scalability, and interoperability for machinery product offerings.
- CTO, ATO, ETO Practices: Implement and optimize CTO, ATO, and ETO workflows within CPQ and related systems, tailoring solutions to machinery manufacturing and sales requirements.
- Revenue Lifecycle Strategy: Create an architectural framework for the revenue lifecycle, integrating machinery-specific CPQ processes with lead-to-cash, order management, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless connectivity between CPQ, CRM, ERP, and manufacturing systems to support end-to-end revenue processes for machinery products.
- Revenue Optimization: Leverage CPQ and configuration data to enable dynamic pricing, modular product bundling, upselling and cross selling opportunities for product and service portfolios.
- Data Integrity: Build and maintain a unified data model to support real-time pricing, configuration accuracy, and compliance with revenue standards (e.g., ASC 606, IFRS 15).
- Technology Roadmap: Define a domain-specific roadmap for CPQ, configuration, and revenue tools, incorporating machinery product complexity and CTO / ATO / ETO practices.
- Process Automation: Automate revenue workflows (e.g., quote generation, order configuration, production handoff) using CPQ and configuration logic tailored to machinery products.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams to align machinery product configurations, pricing rules, and revenue processes with business needs.
- Governance & Standards: Establish best practices for CPQ, product configuration, and pricing data architecture, ensuring scalability and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Experience: 7+ years in solution architecture or systems design, with at least 3+ years focused on enterprise CPQ, revenue lifecycle management, and machinery product configuration.
- Proven expertise in designing machinery product and pricing data architectures for CPQ, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Hands-on experience implementing CTO, ATO, and ETO practices in a manufacturing or machinery context.
