We're looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our team! You will be in a broad role where the engineer designs and executes ready-to-use Hydrogen generation projects for Electric Hydrogen's customers. You are able to collaborate with all partners to ensure the success of the technical scope of the project. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, forecasting, managing all technical activities, and identifying resources to assure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
You will report to the Manager of New Product Integration and will be based remotely in Spain or Germany. You will travel to customer sites across Europe.
Role and Responsibilities Implement early project implementation works for new projects, including Engineering, technical, commercial, and overall project mobilization
Develop a clear, detailed, and accurate FS / Pre-FEED / FEED implementation schedule showing all contractual and other important milestones and project planning
Oversee engineering, technical, early procurement, and site due diligence functions of the projects over an extended period of the project life cycle
Ensure implementation and compliance with applicable codes, policies, performance standards, and specifications
Review Product Documentation and apply product requirements to the customer project
Be responsible for the complete and accurate project engineering design
Report progress & identify risks. Early warning for critical items that pose a risk to the project, implementing mitigation
Ensure project adherence to budgets and schedules
Ensure any contractor or 3rd Party deliverables are aligned with the expected schedule
Draft, prepare, and issue documentation on behalf of multiple partners
Provide support and assistance to customer projects from the procurement through the construction phase of the project
Review documentation related to new customer projects, including technical documentation, drawings, schematics, site layouts, and design review
Facilitate project-specific HAZOP/LOPA/HSE analysis with Electric Hydrogen customer
Qualifications Minimum Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree
8 + years of Project Engineering experience
Demonstrated project execution experience in either the hydrogen, low carbon fuels, renewable space, chemical processing, of Oil & Gas industries; this includes an understanding of interconnection, engineering, procurement, pre-construction, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and O&M phases of a project. Experience in a leadership role
Familiarity with the ASME Codes and National Electric Code (IEC and ATEX), Experience with project management
Ability to travel, up to 40% of the time

Compensation & Benefits Actual base salary offered will be determined based on work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, and experience. Base salary is part of Electric Hydrogen's total rewards package. Eligible benefits may include:

¿Qué hace la Unidad?
El área de Asset Risk Management forma parte de la unidad global de Operación y Mantenimiento (O&M) y actúa como referente técnico para la función de seguros en todo lo relacionado con los activos de generación eléctrica del grupo. Colaboramos estrechamente con las unidades locales de Industrial Risk en los distintos países, así como con el área corporativa de Insurance, que es la encargada de la interlocución directa con aseguradoras y peritos. Nuestra labor se centra en dar soporte técnico y operativo a dicha área en tres ámbitos clave: renovación de pólizas, gestión de siniestros y prevención de pérdidas, asegurando la adecuada protección y continuidad de los activos del grupo.
¿En qué colaborarás?
El becario dará apoyo en tareas relacionadas con la gestión de riesgos asegurables en instalaciones de generación eléctrica. Entre sus actividades estarán: recopilar y actualizar información técnica y económica para la renovación anual de pólizas (valores asegurados, coberturas, etc.); colaborar en el seguimiento de siniestros desde la perspectiva de O&M, facilitando la documentación requerida por el área corporativa de seguros; y apoyar en la coordinación del programa de prevention, incluyendo la preparación y seguimiento de visitas técnicas realizadas por el bróker y el monitoreo de recomendaciones. También podrá participar en la elaboración de informes internos, en el análisis de indicadores de riesgo y en la interacción con equipos locales de Industrial Risk en diferentes geografías.
