Job Description

• Conduct comparative analyses between the current state (As-Is) and the desired or future state (To-Be) of processes, systems, or organizational structures, with the goal of identifying improvement opportunities, inefficiencies, gaps, and transformation needs.
• Conduct comprehensive current state (As-Is) assessments by engaging with stakeholders to understand existing business processes, workflows, roles, and tools.
• Document current processes in detail, identifying pain points, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and redundancies.
• Design future state (To-Be) processes that align with business goals, incorporating technological, organizational, and methodological improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate future-state designs and ensure feasibility and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Perform gap analysis by comparing As-Is and To-Be states, identifying required changes across technology, people, processes, and regulatory factors.
• Develop actionable implementation plans or roadmaps to support business transformation initiatives.
• Create clear and accurate process documentation, including diagrams (BPMN, SIPOC, flowcharts, etc.) and supporting materials.
• Prepare and deliver analytical reports and presentations for senior management and cross-functional teams.

• Technical and Functional Analysis : Translate business requirements into clear and detailed technical specifications, ensuring proper understanding by the development team.
• Collaboration with the Product Owner : Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment between business requirements and project deliverables, driving clear communication and prioritization.
• Development Support : Accompany the technical team throughout the entire project lifecycle, addressing functional or technical questions and ensuring correct implementation of requirements.
• System and Architecture Analysis : Understand system architecture, component dependencies, and integrations with other services or APIs.
• Technical Documentation : Create and maintain technical and functional documentation (diagrams, data flows, specifications).
• Active Participation in Scrum : Take part in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinements, retrospectives), contributing to requirement clarity and prioritization.
• Incident and Improvement Management : Analyze technical issues, propose solutions, and coordinate their resolution with the team.
• Quality and Best Practices : Promote good analysis, design, and documentation practices within the team to enhance efficiency and traceability.

• Bachelor's degree : A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in business analysis or project management are preferred.
• Language skills : Fluency in English (at least B2) is essential. Fluency in German is preferred.
• Experience : Previous experience in the banking sector is preferred.
• Strong team player : Demonstrated ability to excel in collaborative environments, working effectively with geographically distributed teams.
• Ability to understand integrations, data flows, and API specifications.
• Understanding of systems architecture and development concepts (no programming required).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills : Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues and deliver high-impact solutions.
• Agile methodologies : Experience working with Scrum, actively participating in ceremonies and defining user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Experience : At least 2-4 years of experience as a business analyst, with a strong background in agile environments.
• Experience in the banking sector, especially with asset management systems, is a plus. API and data analysis : Proficiency in understanding APIs and data integration, with the ability to analyze and leverage data effectively to inform business decisions and solutions.
• Business process analysis : Ability to analyze and visualize business processes, break down complex requirements into actionable features, and collaborate with the product owner to ensure the delivery of effective solutions.
• Familiarity with business analysis tools : Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies, with an emphasis on the practical application of analysis and process visualization techniques in an agile framework.
