ABOUT THE JOB
MISSION
The main objective of the Head Office Reporting P&L team is to ensure the submission of the Group reporting Profit and Loss (P&L) statements as well the review and the accuracy of the accounting figures.
The team is also the owner analytical process, being the SPOC of all P&L Reporting requirements. Additionally, the team will oversee, identify, and implement initiatives in regards the improvement of ALMT Management Accounting processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Management Accounting & Control Functions.
He/she will be in charge of the following finance functions:
- Ensure the golden rule: the reconciliation between financial and management accounting figures, in compliance with Group and CIB Finance standards.
- Transform the accounting data into management accounting (cost allocation by Business Line) following the MARP (Management Accounting Rules and Principles).
- Produce the head office P&L reporting at business line for the EMEA countries under responsibility.
- Elaborate reliable and quality Performance Management reports for the management of the region. Detect needs of information and reporting for the business
- Design and implement new reports for the local business management.
- Implement a highly automated process for the elaboration of analytical expenses.
- Increase the accuracy of the process thanks to new controls and strict supervision. Be responsible of the right application of these controls. Provide evidences of the outputs of these controls.
- Bring support to the local finance, local heads of the business lines in the analysis of the P&L and KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators), being able to really explain what is happening in the countries in scope.
- Improve the quality of the management accounting figures of each country, ensuring the follow up and performance of the actions established to improve the quality of the data.
- Prepare budget and Forecast process, assuring the consistency of the figures and correct compliance with the instructions sent by central teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Studies
- Accounting/Business degree or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum 4-5 years of financial and/or management accounting experience, preferably within Financial Services Industries
Languages
- English speaking is mandatory.

CIB BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking provides large companies, multinationals, and financial institutions with various solutions in the areas of advisory, financing, transactional banking, capital markets, settlement, clearing, and custody of securities, asset and fund management services, and solutions for corporate issuers. It has 620 professionals in Spain with offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Coruña. The entity has a network present in 56 countries.
The Due Diligence Officer directly reports to the KYC Manager of the Madrid KYC Hub and ultimately to the Head of KYC - Madrid Hub.
As a Due Diligence Officer in the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) division, you will play a critical role in evaluating and mitigating risks associated with business transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough due diligence on potential and existing clients, counterparties, and transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies of BNP Paribas.
The Due Diligence Officer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including relationship managers, legal teams, and compliance officers, to facilitate informed decision-making and maintain the integrity of the bank's operations as well as safeguard against potential risks.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of the discipline and key concepts of the function (KYC).
Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Due Diligence:
- Perform KYCs on new customers, recertification of existing customers, and off-boarding,
- Analyze financial statements, legal documents, and other relevant information to assess risk factors, including the identification of the Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs),
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on new and existing clients, counterparties, and transactions to assess potential risks,
- Monitor the follow-up elements, especially those related to documentation,
- Comply with and follow up on (international) regulatory requirements, such as the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), AEOI (CRS), and Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID),
- Ensure entry of the name of the customers and of the beneficial owners/directors and other representatives on the various databases;
perform the relevant Background checks in accordance with Policy, - Review embargoes, Vigilance to detect PEPs, and utilize other databases according to the local practice,
- Is responsible for the execution of individual tasks
- Risk Assessment:
- Evaluate the findings of due diligence investigations to assess potential risks and provide actionable recommendations to management,
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that due diligence processes align with industry regulations and company policies,
- Identify and assess risks associated with specific transactions and propose risk mitigation strategies
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed and accurate due diligence reports summarizing findings and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders,
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of due diligence activities, ensuring compliance with record-keeping policies,
- Update and monitor the status of all files in the corresponding tools (SharePoint, JIRA, etc.) assuring that it is accurate daily,
- Report KPIs,
- Prepare and record-keep minutes of the team meetings
- Training:
- Train newcomers with any policy or procedure updates;
including performing gap-analysis, documentation collection, KYC assembly in FENERGO, Screening, and Investigator, - Assures and provides training in the different tools and applications currently used by the Madrid KYC Hub when required
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Work closely with relationship managers, legal teams, and other internal stakeholders to gather necessary valid information and ensure a coordinated understanding and approach to due diligence,
- Communicate due diligence findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to cross-functional teams, including senior management,
- Assist the Head of KYC and the KYC Manager/s of the Hub with ad-hoc projects
- Continuous Improvement:
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement within the due diligence function and update due diligence processes to ensure they align with evolving regulatory requirements, based on technical expertise and precedents,
- Escalate incidences found on a day-to-day to the corresponding teams and monitor till its resolution
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations governing the financial industry to ensure due diligence processes align with legal requirements,
- Make sure adequate due diligence and controls are performed to know the customers and how they use the Group’s products and services,
- Be vigilant that customer transactions are not related to bribery or corruption. Report any suspicious operation to Senior Management or to local Compliance

MISSION

• Providing clear details of open items in the accounts under his/her scope. Such details will be used by the managers assigned as owners of the accounts for the periodic certification of accounts.

The Data Security Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining security controls that protect data at rest, in transit, and in use. They focus on encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), access controls, monitoring to prevent unauthorized access and ensuring compliance with data regulations. Implement and manage encryption solutions (AES, RSA, TLS, HSMs, PKI)Ensure secure key management practices using KMIP, AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, securing data across Multi-Cloud and on-premise environmentsImplement data encryption techniques (e.G. masking, anonymization) across databases, cloud storage, and applicationsDeploy and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions (e.G. Microsoft Purview, Symantec, Forcepoint) to monitor and prevent data exfiltrationConduct data classification and risk assessments, collaborate with compliance teams to define data security policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with standards and frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, NISTCollaborate with SOC/SIRT and Support on data security incidents participating in Incident ResponseQualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field3+ years in cybersecurity, ideally as Data Security EngineerFollowing certificates are preferred: CISSP, CIPP, Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)English is a Must, German and French are a plusUnderstanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.G. About the opportunity
The Business Audit Senior Manager function shall examine and assess, in a risk-oriented and process-independent manner, the effectiveness and appropriateness of the risk management system in general, and of the internal control system in particular. As well as the appropriateness of all activities and processes in general, irrespective of whether or not they have been outsourced.
In this role, you will:
- Support of all business internal audit activities of N26 SE/ N26 Bank SE incl. external Contractors.
- Prepare and where necessary lead the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over business operations’ effectiveness, reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
- Prepare a comprehensive risk oriented business audit plan, which shall be updated once a year.
- Audit of all N26 SE/ N26 Bank SE activities and processes, including those outsourced at appropriate intervals and of all subsidiaries, as a general rule within three years (if required with a third party service provider).
- Prepare the Internal Audit reports.
- Ensure that Internal Audit is performing its work in accordance with established professional and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and review the audit work of junior team members.
- Preparation of written reports on each audit and submission to the responsible members of the management board.
- Communication of audit results to operational units.
- Monitor in an appropriate form whether the findings identified during the audit are remedied within the specified timeframe.
- Involvement in key projects, while guarding independence and avoiding conflicts of interest.
- Perform special audits, e.G. due to deficiencies which have arisen or certain informational requirements, on behalf of the management board.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reporting to the management board and committees.
- Support in maintaining Internal Audit policies and procedures.
- If necessary, answers to requests of regulators and supervisory bodies.
What you need to be successful:
- Successfully completed degree in economics or comparable training.
- Gained at least 7 years working experience as Internal Auditor in an international company, in a regulated environment. Preferably in a bank or other financial institution or an audit company.
- High degree of process understanding as well as profound knowledge in the areas of online banking and retail products.
- Very good insight into Banking laws & requirements, and willing to become acquainted with local specific Banking laws, standard banking requirements as well as banking IT-Systems.
- Good English (and German) language skills. Any other European language is a plus.
