Overview
We are looking for junior, medium, and senior digital compositors for our VFX studio in Barcelona and remote.
Contract type: Temporary / Monthly
LocationLocation in our Barcelona studio. Mid term. Also long term positions.
Open to Spain and EU Citizens. Or have a valid EU Citizen Work visa.
RoleThe Compositor combines live action and computer generated elements into visual effects shots that realize the vision and creative direction of the client and Visual Effects Supervisor. The compositor is ultimately responsible for the aesthetic integrity and technical quality of the final image delivered to the client.
Responsibilities- Alongside Compositing Supervisor and VFX Supervisor, evaluates creative and technical approach for assigned shots
- Performs all tasks associated with the Compositing process, including 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering of elements, and colour grading on moderately difficult to very difficult shots
- Maintains the overall look, colour balance, and quality for assigned shots and sequences to create uniformity in all finished work
- Ability to work collaboratively with artists from other disciplines
At least 1 year relevant professional VFX experience and at least a college level diploma in computer graphics, fine arts, design, or photography, or related field; OR, at least 3 years relevant professional VFX experience
Required Skills / Technical Competencies- Strong knowledge of Nuke
- Strong aesthetic skills in judging photo-realism and color
- Ability to work gracefully under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong sense of composition, color and design
- Technical and artistic ability.
- Nuke's ability to write gizmos and / or add-ons is an advantage
- Python and / or C++ experience a plus
- Knowledge in visual effects tools such as: Maya, Vray, Mocha Pro.
- Ability to work under pressure and with closed calendars.
- Problem solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work individually and in teams.

The Role
- The Lead Compositor will lead a team of compositors, working closely with Visual Effects and CG Supervisors to composite elements that complete visual-effects shots.
Responsibilities
- Act as the key contact for production and supervisors, ensuring clear communication and addressing creative challenges, solutions, and schedule changes.
- Balance creative and technical aspects of each shot.
- Meet schedules and show deadlines.
- Collaborate with the Compositing and Visual Effects Supervisors to evaluate creative and technical approaches.

OverviewAs a Senior Compositor, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality shots that meet the visual and creative standards of the production. You’ll work closely with our VFX Supervisor and CG team, integrating 2D and 3D elements into live-action plates to ensure seamless photorealism.
This is a remote-friendly role.
Key Responsibilities- Create high-end, photorealistic compositing work for complex shots
