Job Description
The Project
ACCIONA has been selected to deliver Western Harbour Tunnel – Stage 2, Sydney’s third harbour crossing. The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney.
Project scope includes :
- Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each direction
- Civil, Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnels
- Surface level work, including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah Freeway
In line with the above, ACCIONA is now looking for a Contracts Administrator to join the Western Harbour Tunnel Project. You will be responsible for the procurement of numerous Packages, the establishment and negotiation of contracts while acting as an intermediary between the subcontractors and ACCIONA by resolving possible conflicts.

- Minimum 7+ years of experience in contract management within the renewable energy or oil & gas sectors
- Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, procurement practices, and construction-related legal considerations
- Proven experience leading contract negotiation and administration, including claims resolution and dispute management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager with strong contract administration and quantity surveying experience to support a large-scale industrial project in the Tarragona, Spain. This role is critical to the successful execution of engineering, construction, and service contracts throughout the full project lifecycle.
As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for developing and managing contracting strategies, drafting and negotiating contracts, handling claims and change orders, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute contract and procurement strategies
Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts and purchase orders (POs)
Lead bidding processes and coordinate supplier prequalification and evaluation
