Responsibilities- Lead Control System Engineer who will be responsible for the design, review and verification of control system engineering on assigned projects to ensure safe, high quality, fit for purpose design, in addition to providing consultancy services and studies to client Affiliates.
- As a lead, ensure control system engineering is aligned with all disciplines, executing the work within budget and on schedule whilst mentoring and managing a team of engineers and designers and developing younger engineers.
- Develop and review control system deliverables during basic and detailed engineering phases of major projects, including PDP/FEED, and support the construction and commissioning teams.
- Resolve operational and design issues, interpret project standards and specifications, and provide technical and engineering support to control system issues.
- Prepare control system specifications, logic diagrams, and I/O allocations based on process philosophy; prepare proposals, RFQs, material requisitions, and evaluate technical offers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant international codes and standards (API, IEC, ISA, NFPA, PIP, ASME, ANSI) and company standards; review and update control system standards; conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for plant issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and procurement, support secondment needs, and review documentation for control system design and deliverables.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring; prepare technical articles for publication and presentations; demonstrate strong English written and verbal communication, leadership, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation and Control / Electronics Engineering; Master’s degree beneficial but not essential.
- Typically 10 years of experience in petrochemical, fertilizer, refining, oil or gas environments; at least 7 years with a recognized international FEED/EPC contractor, performing control system engineering for green and brown field facilities.
- Experience across complete project cycles (basic to detailed engineering including construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning support) for green/brown field projects; strong issue resolution capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of control system design related to PDP & FEED; pre-tender design; scheduling, man-hour control, productivity and status reporting; secondment experience.
- Experience with FEED project sizes around 50,000 hours; up-to-date with latest technical developments in the field; support to procurement and vendor interactions.
- Proficiency in international codes/standards (API, IEC, ISA, NFPA, PIP, ASME, ANSI) and ability to interpret project standards and specifications; capable of reviewing/updating company standards.
- Extensive experience in development/review of control system deliverables during basic and detailed engineering; experience in preparation of control system specifications, I/O allocations, and supplier evaluation; capability to review and approve control system design documents.
- Knowledge of Value Engineering techniques; strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills; ability to work with vendor technical representatives to resolve issues.
- Experience in PDP/FEED control system design; ability to prepare proposals, train/mentor staff, and communicate effectively; strong decision-making, independence, and ability to deliver challenging projects and meet client targets.

La misión del HW Quality Control es realizar las tareas de inspección, análisis y homologación de los productos de Thales Alenia Space en España (TASinS) requeridos por su Responsable, asegurando el cumplimiento de los requisitos de calidad establecidos.
Responsabilidades Clave :
Realizar la inspección de calidad tanto de los productos fabricados por TASinS, como de los productos y componentes adquiridos o subcontratados.
Verificar y aprobar la configuración aplicable a la fabricación de cada producto y realizar el correspondiente informe del producto entregado.
Controlar la calidad de los productos de subcontratistas y proveedores.
Velar por el cumplimiento de las normas aplicables en materia de calidad de los productos y procedimientos de la Empresa. Corregir posibles errores y evitar su repetición.
Colaborar en la actualización de las normas en materia de calidad y en la optimización de los procesos de fabricación.
El puesto puede requerir desplazamientos ocasionales a las instalaciones de Clientes o subcontratistas.
Language Skills:
Español obligatorio, conocimientos en inglés y/o en francés será valorado
Sobre ti:
Experiencia profesional mínima entre 1 y 3 años.
Inglés (interfaz con el cliente). Se valorará francés/italiano.
Puesto anterior recomendado: experiencia en departamentos de Fabricación o Diseño.
Se valorarán conocimientos en inspección de hardware y aspectos técnicos de productos electrónicos.
Se valorará el conocimiento de las normas de calidad de la Agencia Espacial Europea para proyectos SW y HW, así como los documentos aplicables del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad para las actividades de Garantía de Calidad.
