About the Role

We are seeking a Development Specialist with a strong background in predictive analytics to provide technical leadership in researching and developing data-driven methods to anticipate equipment failures and maintenance needs.

THE JOURNEY
Responsibilities

  • Develop data pipelines and optimize data pipelines: data ingestion from transactional sources and APIs, data transformation with dbt, and workflow orchestration with Airflow
  • Model and structure data: Build maintainable data models, including fact tables and slowly changing dimensions, to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Partner with business teams to understand their needs, deliver actionable data solutions, and support self-service analytics.
  • Design user-friendly dashboards and LookML models to enable stakeholders to explore and analyze data effectively.
  • Stay up to date with the latest data technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices. Experiment with new tools
  • Continuously work on improving our data quality

Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Eagerness to work closely with business stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate complex data topics to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with SQL and Python
  • Experience building ETL workloads
  • Knowledge of data modeling and schema design
  • Experience with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)

Nice To Have

  • Experience with test automation (data testing, unit and system integration testing)
  • Experience building data products in a Data Mesh architecture
  • Experience in big data technologies (e.g. Spark), SQL optimisation and performance tuning
  • Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform)

Omega CRM is a Merkle & Dentsu company, leader in development of Customer Experience services, with +20 years of experience in the use of Technology applied to Marketing and providing a unique Customer Relationship with mainly focus on Innovation. We are looking for a Data & Analytics Strategist.

Responsibilities

  • Gains industry and market expertise by participating in various projects to provide clients with a 'benchmark' perspective.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the Analytics sector and the industry, contributing to business objectives by developing new products and services aligned with client needs.
  • Analyzes, estimates, and develops proposals to support the commercial team. Identifies when specialists from other service lines or knowledge areas are needed to enhance client advisory.
  • Implements mechanisms to identify and control commercial risks during the pre-sales phase.
  • Analyzes and interprets risks before project initiation and communicates them to Operations.
  • Directly engages in delivering services for highly complex and high-risk projects, in coordination with Operations.
  • Develops new methodologies within their field of responsibility to impact the work of others and improve area outcomes.
  • Evaluates implementation results against the proposed solution, assessing efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Acts as a role model for the team, managing their development as a People Lead:

  • Establishes and implements a communication strategy to clearly define team objectives.
  • Develops and manages talent within the team, leveraging tools to enhance people and organizational goals.
  • Conducts logical analyses, identifies issues, seeks and interprets relevant information to share and coordinate data within the team, and helps remove obstacles to progress.
  • Supports, encourages, and motivates team members to foster commitment to the organization and area objectives.
  • Listens to team members, gathers their professional and personal needs, and collaborates with HR to facilitate career development.
  • Participates in decision-making regarding professional development, evaluation, and team performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent vocational training).
  • Strong foundation in platform development, organization, time management, conflict resolution, prioritization, methodologies, and English proficiency.
  • Extensive experience in business data collection, interpretation, and process optimization.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (Project Manager / Solution Architect).
  • Proficiency in software tools related to the core technologies of the implemented applications.
  • Collaboration with business units and technology teams to enhance services, environments, and customer experience.
  • Data Engineering & Cloud: Talend, Pentaho, Datorama, SQL, Python.
  • Analytics & BI: Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce CRM Analytics, Grafana.
  • Languages: English proficiency.
