The Enterprise Architect (EA) will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology future of Landmark Group working at our HQ in Dubai, UAE. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture strategy, blueprint, and roadmap, ensuring it is fully aligned with our business objectives. You will act as a bridge between business leadership and IT delivery, translating business needs into scalable, efficient, and future-proof technology solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the retail landscape, modern architectures, and a proven ability to drive large-scale transformation.


Key Responsibilities -


Strategy & Governance:

  • Develop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture strategy, principles, standards, and reference architectures.
  • Create and socialize technology roadmaps that support business capabilities and long-term goals.
  • Establish and govern EA review processes to ensure project and initiative architecture aligns with overall strategy.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, Advanced Analytics) for their potential to create competitive advantage in retail.


Design & Analysis:

  • Analyze the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy debt, and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Lead the design and modeling of implementation-agnostic future-state architectures for key domains: Applications, Data, and Infrastructure/Cloud.
  • Conduct “buy vs. build” analyses for major capabilities, ensuring optimal investment and vendor selection.
  • Focus on integrating core retail systems: ERP, POS, OMS, CRM, Supply Chain & Logistics, and E-commerce platforms.


Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership:

  • Collaborate closely with Leadership and product management to understand strategy and translate it into architectural requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to solution architects, technical architects, and development teams.
  • Lead architecture review to ensure cross-team alignment and knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.


Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5+ years in an Enterprise Architect or Chief Architect role.
  • Proven experience and a strong understanding of retail processes and systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing enterprise architecture artifacts: roadmaps, principles, blueprints, and standards.
  • Expertise in multiple architectural domains: Application, Data, Integration, and Cloud (Azure/GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and SOA.
  • Experience with large-scale ERP systems and their integration into a broader ecosystem.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and execution skills.

Reportando al Chief Information Officer (CIO), tendrá la visión global de la Arquitectura Empresarial y la Estrategia de la organización, con la finalidad de facilitar su crecimiento organizativo.

Definir la arquitectura empresarial y técnica, así como las metodologías y normativas que acompañarán a la compañía en su proceso de expansión.

Asegurar el alineamiento entre la estrategia de negocio y tecnológica.

Gestionar los activos estratégicos de negocio y los procesos tecnológicos.

Desarrollar capacidades de medición de cumplimientos mediante herramientas, procesos, etc.

Ser un evangelista técnico y líder que inspire a la organización.

Orientación a la innovación, visión crítica de las nuevas tendencias tecnológicas para identificar oportunidades que puedan aportar valor a la compañía.

Requerimientos
  • Preferentemente Ingeniero Superior Informático o Titulado Superior en carreras técnicas.
  • Mínimo de 10 años de experiência en equipos de tecnología y al menos 5 en Arquitectura Empresarial, ya sea en cliente final o en consultoría estratégica.
  • Experiência en proyectos de implantación de diferentes plataformas, principalmente de Microsoft.

Funciones y responsabilidades
  • Centrado en la entrega, apoyar y trabajar con proyectos a lo largo de su ciclo de vida
  • Integración de aplicaciones
  • Sólida capacidad técnica, capaz de comprender rápidamente los sistemas y extraer los puntos clave de la información
  • Dar forma a las soluciones, buscar su aceptación e impulsar su adopción
  • Gestión de proyectos, construir estructuras de desglose del trabajo que cubran los elementos técnicos del proyecto y, a continuación, proporcionar la gobernanza técnica y la dirección al equipo del proyecto. También proporcionar estimaciones generales de esfuerzo
  • Será responsable de proponer y validar para cada aplicación en el roadmap de integración entre soluciones y aplicaciones. Dar forma a la solución, comprender y juzgar los elementos clave de los pasos (calendario del proyecto) y comunicarlos a todo el equipo de integración de ACE.
  • Facilitar el diseño y la validación de las soluciones técnicas.

  • Debe ser capaz de comprender las diferentes soluciones propuestas desde los diferentes CCFs (grupos de trabajo) y de identificar los gaps en las diferentes aplicaciones y cómo darles una mejor respuesta.
  • Es importante destacar que no será el encargado de definir la arquitectura técnica (ese papel se cubre con Arquitectos de Soluciones), pero sí de supervisar las mismas en su integración con las diferentes aplicaciones, que a su vez tienen un amplio espectro de tecnologías de referencia.
  • También es importante que tenga capacidad analítica para poder realizar una rápida comprensión de los requerimientos de negocio y cómo la tecnología da respuesta a ellos.
Otros datos del proyecto
  • Programa aeronáutico que afecta a distintas localizaciones (Francia, Alemania, UK, España principalmente), gestionado en modo ágil bajo metodología SAFE. Incluido dentro de un equipo multidisciplinar (gestión, negocio, tecnología).
  • Modalidad de trabajo: Híbrido. 60% oficina / 40% remoto, 2 días a la semana en oficina.

What You Need To Succeed
  • 10+ years of IT experience with a focus on SaaS products and Enterprise Architecture, including large, customised Salesforce environments.
  • Salesforce mastery with 7+ years designing solutions and certifications such as Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Community Cloud.
  • MarTech experience with hands‑on exposure to tools like Hubspot or Marketo, plus integration platforms such as Workato.
