Job Title: Regional EngineerThe Engineer works within the Regional Engineering team, reporting to the Engineering or Technical Manager. Guided by Senior Engineers where appropriate, he takes responsibility for day-to-day technical support to the region. This includes product selection and specification, troubleshooting, failure diagnosis, and working directly with internal and external customers, supported by Sales and Aftermarket as appropriate.
Duties & Responsibilities- Perform calculations such as seal leakage, heat generation, balance temperature, flow rates, and calculations for couplings, support systems, and filtration.
- Use CAD to create proposal drawings and facilitate liaison with drawing offices.
- Conduct field troubleshooting, analyze problems, recommend and implement solutions, and meet with customers at plant or site.
- Carry out detailed failure analysis, including investigation, reporting, and resolution.
- Approve or reject purchase or manufacture of fabricated parts not to drawing specifications.
- Deliver detailed technical presentations to customers to support sales.
- Manage personal workload, forecast job lead-times to meet objectives.
- Raise, process, and approve Engineering Change Notice (ECN) requests.
- Provide technical support to Regional Sales and Service teams.
- Collaborate with Sales and Reliability teams to identify retrofit or upgrade opportunities.
- Work in accordance with John Crane standards, procedures, and policies.

Integrated within the Engineering department, you will perform, manage, follow, supervise mechanical activities on projects. Supported by the Mechanical Leader, you will design Jet Aviation’s design principles and will ensure their successful integration.
Main Responsibilities
Mechanical design/structures according to established Design principles under the supervision of the Mechanical Lead during the Design cycle.
Make 3D engineering models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts, as well as make designs and assembly and installation drawings according to the rules and processes of mechanical engineering design (materials and processes guidelines, sheet metal rules, mechanized rules, construction rules). selection and installation of standards and fasteners, bonding and grounding, etc.).
Definition of mechanical interfaces with the supplier/customer.
Support to the manufacturing and installation process (Review, Deviation Sheets, Concession).
Ensure a design-to-weight and design-to-cost approach in accordance with project requirements.
Identify risk elements and participate in their evaluation and propose efficient and innovative solutions.
Manage/participate in the mechanical design of different projects.
Collaborate with different specialists to ensure the degree of compliance with regulations (Production Engineering, Stress, CVE, flammability, suppliers, etc.).
Provide support to the testing process and the preparation of the corresponding report.
Support to Quotations of the different projects and make quotations for small projects if necessary.
Carry out technical inspections of the aircraft (photographs, dimensions, 3D scanning.).
Record of lessons learned to ensure the efficiency of future projects.
Minimum Requirements
Degree/Master in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering.
5 years experience in Mechanical Engineering Design/Aeronautical Structures.
Able to carry out differentiating concepts (mechanism, kinematics)
Proficient with CAE and CAD tools (preferably Siemens NX, TeamCenter, AutoCAD, etc.).
High English and Spanish level is mandatory.
Used to work in international environments and projects.
Good and positive communication, motivated team player.
Used to work in a highly demanding environment.
