As an IT Operations Technician within the IT Support team, your primary goal will be to provide comprehensive support across various departments within the company, focusing on improving processes and enhancing on-premises infrastructure and services. This role is pivotal in supporting the organization's ongoing growth by balancing the workload between improvement initiatives and the critical need to service internal customers effectively. You will collaborate closely with key teams including IT Support, CyberSecurity, Compliance, Business Operations, and Office Management.
This role offers a hybrid work environment in our Marbella office.
In your first month, you will become familiar with our existing IT infrastructure and processes, while also starting to engage with various teams to understand their specific IT needs and challenges. After six months, you will have successfully led implementation projects independently, enhancing our IT services and infrastructure. THE JOB
We are looking for an intern to work in the IT Team, based at Radisson Hotel Group’s EMEA headquarters in Madrid for 6 months.
The IT intern will be an important support figure within the IT Hotel and Corporate Office Services team and will provide help in different daily tasks and projects, actively contributing to improve the quality of the service and to ensure the whole company runs smoothly. The trainee will be trained by the IT Managers in the first weeks to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to be an independent problem-solver and self-starter. The internship is a great opportunity to get to know how the different IT teams work within the organization and across the different IT sub-teams and develop new skills and gain experience in the IT field in the hospitality industry.
DURATION6 months, starting as soon as possible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Help the IT Hotel and Corporate Office team with daily administrative tasks
- Attend the different ITHT meetings to learn and understand the different scope and responsibilities of the team
- Manage the meeting minutes and the action item follow-ups to ensure the team is able to deliver the commitments to the stakeholders ( Hotels)
- Help with IT governance
- Support the central governance team to monitor and track hotel compliance to IT requirements and processes
- IT audits, IT hotel openings, Hotel Asset management, IT cyber security compliance, etc)
- Track ITHT Key performance Indicators (KPIs) and understand why these KPIs are important and implication of non-compliance
- Support access management on key applications deployed by the central governance team
- BlueTally (IT asset inventory tool)
- SecureTrust by VikingCloud (Security compliance tool)
- Support ITHT and RHG reporting requirements
- Learn different reporting techniques and best practices using current industry tools
- Enhance skills in different reporting tools (Excel , Power point, Power Automate, Power BI, etc)
- Contribute to the implementation of small projects together with the team and eventually lead IT project management activities
- Learn project management methodology and industry best practices
- Understand different IT projects that can be run centrally and deployment locally to the hotels
- Has to be enrolled in a school program in order to be eligible for the internship
- Has affinity with IT in the academic curricula
- Is supportive
- Has good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Other MS365 tools such as Teams
- Has advance SharePoint knowledge is a plus
- Has PowerBi skills is a plus
- Is fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Has a sharp eye for detail and is very accurate and precise
- Has soft skills and is a good communicator
- Must be able to prioritize and work within tight deadlines
- Is trustworthy, has a high level of passion and integrity

Roles/Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with Project Manager and Business stakeholders to understand Business drivers and scope of the projects.

· Write detailed user stories and use cases aligned with an Agile / sprint-based development methodology.
· Document and maintain process maps, procedures, and policies. Documenting “as-is” and “to-be” business processes.
· Analyse current business processes and identify areas for improvement
· Obtain formal sign-off of business requirements from all key stakeholders and ensure traceability throughout the development cycle as requirements evolve
· Work actively and closely with software development teams to ensure user requirements are clearly understood and developed as specified in the documentation.
· Perform estimation for analysis deliverables; ensuring timelines are realistic and achievable.
· Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders including status against milestones, and transparency of risks/ issues.
· Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of process changes
· Onboarding of new employees in the IT department. Train and support end-users on new or improved processes.
Job requirements and qualifications:

Must have experience:
· At least four years of experience as a Business Analyst in a large complex organisation with a multinational environment.
· Extensive experience across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
· Excellent level of English with good communication skills (oral & writing)
· Ability and flexibility to adjust to a fast-changing and demanding environment.

· Background in international organizations.
