Overview
Airbus offers an internship (curricular practicum) program for students in the last year of their degree to acquire professional skills through a project in the company. The internship is located at the Airbus Illescas Plant, Performance & Improvement department, in Spain.
What we offer- Internship (curricular practicum) program + Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).
- 6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2026
- Part time: 5h per day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)
- Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring
You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.
Final degree project (TFG)From the very first day, the student will be immersed in an industrial environment dedicated to the production of advanced aerospace components made from carbon fiber composites, used in the construction of the Airbus family of commercial aircraft. The experience will be located at Airbus Illescas Plant, in the Performance & Improvement department. The student will work in an environment with a strong Lean Manufacturing culture, embodied in Airbus Operating System known as AOS. The scope of the Final degree project (TFG) consists of the analysis of the deployment of the AOS at a new production line:
- Cargo door production line is being launched, and P&I must ensure the creation of new routines and the consistency of the whole system
- Each line has different specificities and priorities, so we have to apply our standards, but with flexibility
- For a new line, we have to ease the cultural change, reducing resistance to change
The deliverable will be a document that sequentially describes the student’s experience and includes the theoretical concepts applied (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Balanced Scorecard, Key Performance Indicators, Design of Experiments), as well as the reasoning, results, and conclusions/recommendations derived from the process.
Required skills- English: minimum level B2 (C1 desirable)

In order to support the Airbus Working Party department, Airbus Commercial is looking for a
Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer EASA B1 WORKING PARTY MANAGER (d/f/m)
Airbus Customer Care Centre, Working Party Team provides after sales support. Specializing mainly in structural repair, the Airbus Working Party department provides major repair services to their customers at locations throughout the world.
Our team offers complete certified packages including customized repair solutions, planning and repair embodiment.
As a Working Party Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing aircraft repair projects from the planning phase, through to embodiment and release to service. You will act in a certifying staff, coordinate the Airbus team onsite and work with our customer to deliver on time, on cost and on quality products to an industry leading standard.
As this role is mainly for structural repair activities, a successful applicant should have spent a considerable period engaged in activities such as heavy maintenance, manufacture or cargo conversion.
Working in diverse teams with customers worldwide, the ability to manage across different nationalities and cultures is a large part of this position.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Managing team competences and allocating work
- Carrying out inspections
- Certifying aircraft repair tasks in establishing the Working Party file and issuing Certificate of Release to Service for the work package performed, in accordance with EASA/FAR Part 145 rules.
- Ensure airworthiness of the aircraft for the work performed through the Working Party
- Maintaining compliance with Airbus 145 procedures
- Manage the customers on site.
- Away from our primary activity, the Working Party Manager can expect to be engaged in other activities such as
- Supporting across programs in advisory roles
- Developing special working party tools
- Developing and validating Service Bulletin 's (SB)
- Engaging with other Airbus departments on cross projects
- Supporting Airlines and MRO's in advisory roles such as troubleshooting and repair embodiment.
- Support Airbus production in pre-SB
This role requires extensive travel. All applicants should be prepared to travel for long periods on short notice.
Desired skills and qualifications
- EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License Cat B1 (B2 and C added advantage)
- Minimum 2 current Airbus Type Ratings as CAT B1
- 5 years certifying experience in a supervisory role
- Advanced English (French, German, Spanish added advantage)
- Good communication skills
- Proven experience in managing teams
- To be able to take initiative and decisions
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience in working abroad
- Demonstrate cultural awareness
- Work to schedules, budgets, and quality
