Job DescriptionAs a System Integration Engineer, your mission will be to contribute to the transformation and continuous evolution of the platforms that supports the CIB Regulatory and Compliance domain.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Work on the technical design and implementation for application integration in the Trade Finance Anti Money Laundering area, following the principles of C&IB architecture.
- Main tasks related to online integration (services called via API or connected through queues) of software components of the ecosystem used to run the AML pre-deal controls in the Trade Finance business.
- Propose software designs for applications or components applying agreed standards, patterns and tools. Ability to understand complex architectures with a wide range of technologies which need to talk each other.
- Actively work on software optimization and process efficiency.
- Disposition to do what it takes to ensure the team accomplishes its goals.
- Contributes towards technical requirements of all the products/features
- Understand the business logic so you can propose enhancements to the end-user areas.
- Collaborate in the design of online integration solutions to apply to the Transaction Monitoring and Screening products based on APIs, microservices, MQ and Kafka messaging.
- Experience on distributed architectures, both synchronous (API REST) and asynchronous (Kafka, MQ).
- Security concepts knowledgerelated to OAuth2, SSL certificates
- Nice to have technology knowledge: Python, ElasticSearch, WebServices (SOAP)
- Communication skills: ability to adequately address messages and level of detail to each level in the Organization
- Conflict resolution: Capacity to create an atmosphere of creative thinking adequately managing different views to produce consent solutions.
- Exceptional working ethics, critical thinking skills and attention to details.
- Ability to work both autonomously and together with a multi-skilled distributed team.
- Agile methodologies and tools: Jira, Confluence, GIT
- Strategical thinking, Innovative attitude to challenge status quo
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- 2+ years of experience in Springboot framework sowftware development

- Fluent in English is a must. Fluent in Spanish appreciated.

Your Qualifications
Bilingual or proficient in Norwegian with fluent English.
1-2 years of experience in technical support roles.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Windows/Linux OS.
Networking troubleshooting knowledge.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Basic knowledge of virtualization (a plus).
Experience in storage networking (preferred but not required).
