Responsibilities

Requirements

The Specialist will elevate GDELS’ employer brand by designing bold and engaging campaigns that showcase the company as an exceptional place to work. Through strategic management of GDELS’ social media channels, the Specialist will connect internal and external narratives, amplifying the company’s voice, strengthening its reputation, and attracting top-tier talent.
Reporting directly to the Director of Talent and Internal Communication, this role thrives on collaboration with key stakeholders, including Human Resources, Corporate Communication, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is a creative strategist and compelling storyteller, passionate about driving GDELS’ mission to attract and retain top talent while building a vibrant internal culture and a standout employer brand.
What your work will consist of:
- Collaborate with the Director of Talent and Internal Communication to design, develop, and execute a comprehensive internal communication strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
- Craft and deliver high-quality internal communication materials, including messages, initiatives, digital content, campaigns, and audiovisuals, ensuring they drive employee engagement, foster alignment, and reflect GDELS’ business culture. Adapt tone and style appropriately to resonate with diverse audiences.
- Ensure and maintain consistency in internal communication messages and content across all channels, departments, and organizational levels, ensuring alignment with Corporate Communications & Marketing strategies.
- Oversee and manage the GDELS’ intranet implementation by liaising with external providers, the IT department, internal clients, and site representatives. Develop and maintain engaging, informative, and user-centric content to meet organizational needs.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement impactful internal events and content that highlight GDELS’ business culture, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, employee experience, and professional development opportunities.
- Develop professional videos and presentations to support organizational events and internal communication channels.
- Ensure the quality and contextual relevance of all content in English, Spanish, and German, adapting messages to suit the intended audience.
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams, fostering strong collaborative relationships with Corporate Communications & Marketing.
- Manage and monitor GDELS’ social media presence by creating engaging posts, staying informed of social media trends and best practices, as well as ensuring alignment with the employer branding and communication goals.
What is the profile required?
- Proven working experience of 7+ years in internal communication and corporate communication positions in international companies, designing and implementing communication plans and campaigns in support of business strategy, employer branding, DEI and business culture, actively engaging internal employees on a global company wide basis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Advertising and Publics Affaires or Marketing.
- Postgraduate studies in Internal Communication, Digital Marketing or similar.
- Solid experience collaborating with different stakeholders and internal clients.
- Experience in creating digital contents, videos, newsletters and presentations, as well as managing intranets, webs and social media.
- Demonstrated previous experience in writing and editing communication contents.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is a must (spoken and written - C1). German would be a plus.
- Knowledge of internal communication processes and social media managing.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) photoshop and on the use of software tools for editing (photo/video/text).

IDC is looking to grow our successful global events portfolio by adding a Product Marketing Manager who can deliver on its 3-year event marketing growth plans in each of IDC’s 12 primary international business regions.
The Product Marketing Manager for IT Events will play a pivotal role in transforming our event business by designing new event packages that integrate products and services from our various business units in new ways. This role requires a strategic thinker who can work cross-functionally to align business objectives, create compelling value propositions, and drive engagement with both event attendees and sponsors.
Location : This role can sit anywhere in Spain (we offer teletrabajo ).
Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Events leadership team to reimagine and transform our event offerings, ensuring they deliver increased value for both attendees and sponsors.
- Product Innovation : Partner with the Events business leadership to define and develop new event packages, leveraging insights from different business units. Establish business cases, validate concepts with customers and prospects, and ensure alignment with overall company strategy.
- Packaging & Pricing Development : Support the development of event sponsorship packaging and pricing strategies. Conduct research and validation exercises with prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure market fit, competitive positioning, and willingness to pay (WTP).
- Messaging & Positioning: Create compelling messaging, positioning, and narratives for event packages that resonate with target audiences. Ensure that all communications reflect the value and differentiation of our event offerings.
- Content Development : Own the development of standard product marketing frameworks, such as competitive assessment, positioning & messaging. Create and partner to develop key pieces of content, including datasheets, rate cards, web copy, presentations, and more. Provide messaging and support the Marketing team for development of marketing content like demand generation and digital market content.
- Launch Leadership : Lead the planning and execution of event product launches. Organize and guide a cross-functional team across Marketing, Sales, Channel, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and other departments to ensure all deliverables are met. Drive the team to deliver a successful event on time, ensuring alignment across all functions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Corporate Marketing to drive awareness, interest, and monetization of event packages. Collaborate with Sales, Events, and Business Development teams to ensure cohesive execution and delivery.
- Market Research & Insigh ts: Continuously monitor industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform the development and refinement of event packages. Provide actionable insights to guide strategic decisions and improve offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology or data industries.
- Proven track record of developing and launching successful products or services.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and business units.
