Responsibilities

.Your role will be:

  • Implement the automation of each machine based on the required needs and specifications.
  • PLC and HMI programming.
  • Development of new standard programming concepts.
  • Participate in electrical design when required.
  • Carry out the proper programming procedures as well as follow the instructions given by the Head of the department.
  • Occasional collaboration with the Technical Office in design tasks.
  • Collaboration with the mechanical and electrical departments.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Travel to national and international customers for machine installation and any necessary support, as required by CSM, in matters related to the automation department.
Qualifications

**What you'll do**
+ Own the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues across Level 1, 2, and 3 Technical Support. As the complexity of the issue increases, so does the required skill level. Depending on the product, a single individual may handle all three levels, or these may be distributed among different specialists with increasing expertise.
+ Support installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of site SCADA, Wind Control, turbine control software, and related systems. Knowledge of the site's local network infrastructure is advantageous.
+ Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline, leveraging prior experience and acquired expertise to implement policies and strategies effectively.
+ Collaborate with contractor resources within the team to execute tasks and provide technical guidance as necessary.

**What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)**
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, or similar).
+ Previous hands-on experience with SCADA systems and WindControl software.
+ Willingness and ability to travel within Europe - approximately 30% of the time annually.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Fluency in Spanish will be a plus.

How will you contribute to PropHero?

Your mission as a QA Automation Engineer at PropHero, you will be the guardian of product quality—designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks that ensure our platform is stable, scalable, and delightful to use. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to define testing strategies, write robust automated tests, and integrate quality checks into our CI/CD pipelines. You’ll champion a culture of quality across the team, proactively identifying potential issues before they impact our customers, and continuously improving our testing processes with modern tools and AI-driven approaches.

Your success in this mission will be stellar if you succeed in the following areas:

  • Test Automation Development: Build, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks for web, mobile (Flutter), and backend (Node.js) services.
  • Quality Strategy : Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality gates for releases.
  • Continuous Integration & Delivery: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid, reliable feedback on code quality.
  • Defect Prevention & Analysis: Identify root causes of issues, drive preventative measures, and maintain high standards for defect-free releases.
  • Performance & Security Testing: Implement automated performance, load, and basic security tests to ensure scalability and resilience.
  • Tooling & Best Practices: Research, propose, and adopt new testing tools, frameworks, and AI-driven solutions to increase coverage and efficiency.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear test documentation and provide actionable quality metrics to stakeholders.

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in QA automation engineering.
  • Proficiency with modern test automation frameworks ( e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Appium ) with a proven track record of building, maintaining, and scaling robust test suites.

Automation Engineer

For our Grifols in Parets, we are looking for an Automation Engineer . This is a key hire for the successful implementation of a newly introduced equipment. We are seeking a professional with strong expertise and proven technical leadership skills.

Main Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens AWL Step7 .
  • Hands-on experience with the commissioning of new machines/lines, troubleshooting, and process validation.
  • Desirable: knowledge of Rockwell and Zenon SCADA systems.

Additional Skills (highly valued for this project):

  • Experience in the integration of equipment within GMP/pharma or other highly regulated environments.
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation and contribute to qualification processes (IQ/OQ).
  • Strong team-player mindset to collaborate across engineering, maintenance, production, and quality teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to liaise with external suppliers.

This role will be essential in ensuring the successful start-up, optimization, and validation of the new machine, bringing expertise in both programming and systems integration .

Location: Parets (Barcelona Area)

About the Role

For this position, we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our iLovePDF Tech team. You will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and stability of our applications, as well as performing manual testing when necessary to support new features, bug fixes, and regression coverage.

You'll collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other QA team members to identify test scenarios, document test cases, and continuously improve our testing processes.

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Desktop and Mobile applications.
  • Take ownership of introducing and scaling automation testing within our projects to improve test coverage and release confidence.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other QA team members to understand feature requirements and ensure testability.
  • Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases when necessary to support new features, exploratory testing, and regression cycles.
  • Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and verify fixes.
  • Monitor test execution and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in QA Automation with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Appium and/or Squish (experience with Squish is a big plus).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
  • Familiarity with writing tests using Gherkin syntax (e.g., Given/When/Then) is a plus.
  • Experience testing Desktop and/or Mobile applications.
  • Solid knowledge of test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to read and understand product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • EU citizen or a valid work permit to work in Spain.
