HESCO, an engineering company specialized in providing comprehensive structural engineering services and execution projects;
in addition to Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Electromechanical designs;
based in Spain with offices in Jeddah, Riyadh, Makkah, Syria, Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon and United Kingdom.
We are searching for an Industrial / Process Engineer specialized in Dairy Farming, to join our team in Algeria. The successful candidate will support the development, optimization, and management of industrial processes within dairy production facilities. He/she will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality control, sustainability, and compliance with international standards.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Design, implement, and optimize industrial processes for dairy production.
· Monitor and improve production workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
· Develop and maintain process documentation, including technical specifications and quality standards.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality assurance, and operations.
· Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations in dairy processing.
· Implement continuous improvement strategies, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.
· Oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of processing equipment.
· Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to ensure smooth production operations.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Food Engineering, or related field.
LANGUAGES
Proficiency in English.
Knowledge of Arabic or French will be considered a strong asset.
Spanish will be valued.
EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 18 years of experience in industrial process engineering, preferably within the dairy or food production sector.
· Strong understanding of dairy production systems, process design, and quality assurance standards.
· Proven track record in implementing and monitoring industrial processes in compliance with international regulations and industry best practices.

Job Purpose

- Prepare budget and cost estimations (Including payback studies) in order to approve capital expenditure (Capex) for each project.

- Industrialization projects leadership according to defined timing and approved CAPEX.

- Support the introduction of new models and new processes into the production lines.

- Identification and management of OCS (Operating cost savings) projects. Reporting and monitoring results vs plant target

- Process MST (Standarization) audits and action plan management

- PFMA and Control Plan management.

- Participate in the achievement of the plant's 5s target and the execution of Quick Kaizen.

- Participate in the site digitalization project.

- Support QA department in the root cause, analysis for a customer QA claim (through different tools such as SPC, 5S, 5WHY, 8D, Kaizen, Ishikawa…)




Requirements:



- University degree in related field.

- At least 3/5 years of experience in similar positions

- English/Spanish fluent reading, writing, conversation is mandatory.

- Good team worker, willing to work closely with all the stakeholders involved (Manufacturing, QA, EHS, SC…)

- Excellent interpersonal and project management skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality

- Ability to work independently, take initiatives and follow-up on assigned projects

- Previous experience in a position within a company active in automotive industry
