BUNGE has an exciting opportunity available for a Middle Office Analyst . In this role, you will be providing daily support to the Commercial team on operational aspects including financial and position backup, translation of trading activities into daily positions and P&L reports. Serve as a central contact for trading operations, supporting trade flow verifications and data accuracy, ensuring data consistency across departments and systems. Additionally, drive automation and efficiency improvements in reporting processes and tools.

Some responsibilities of the Middle Office Analyst include:

Trade Administration / Support (Daily Positions & P&L):

• Producing accurate daily VC Commodity Positions & P&L reports.
• Updating/reconciling new trades with the commercial team.
• Reconciling freight positions against the freight department.
• Coordinating vessel execution with trading/execution/logistics teams and reflecting impacts in daily P&L.
• Monitoring/pricing confirmation to contracts/execution/traders and tracking changes for accuracy.
• Reconciling and publishing daily position & P&L.
• Sending trade slips to contract admin for Geneva-based sales.
• Handling interoffice futures transfers for Geneva sales.

• Consolidate, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources for reporting.

• Prepare and explain daily P&L changes, analyzing main drivers.

• Provide analysis and support to the commercial team.

• Optimize Excel reports to reduce manual tasks, errors, and improve speed.

• Handle ad hoc reports, projects, and other duties as needed.

Pre-Load Execution:

• Monitor and verify operations and contractual changes with traders and operations.

Extra Costs / Bad Debt:

• Review accruals, extra costs, and bad debts reports.

• Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to understand financial impacts.

Closing the books:

• Collect, review, and confirm month-end inputs: prices, freight rates, volumes, etc.

• Reconcile monthly results with accounting.

• Coordinate across functions to resolve gaps during month-end closing.

Results analysis:

• Conduct margin analysis to identify main drivers of margin structure and trading components.

Skills and experience required:

• University degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or control, preferably in commodities trading.
• Good knowledge of SAP.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with understanding of commodity trading and mark-to-market.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, managing multiple tasks.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

¿Qué funciones realizarás?

• Tramitación órdenes asesoramiento y sólo ejecución.
• Contratación de distintos instrumentos financieros (Renta Variable, Renta Fija, Derivados Listados, Divisa, Productos Estructurados, Fondos de Inversión, Hedge Funds) para las tres licencias de la casa.
• Control y monitorización de todo el flujo de tramitación y contratación de órdenes.
• Contratación Private Equity.

¿Qué perfil buscamos?

• Estudios: Graduado en Economía y/o Administración y Dirección de Empresas; o formación superior equivalente.
• Competencias necesarias: Que esté familiarizado con la operativa de Back Office de un Departamento de Operaciones; La contratación y liquidación de los distintos instrumentos financieros (renta variable, renta fija, IICS, derivados listados, OTCs, private equity); así como los distintos tipos de cuentas / vehículos inversores (cuentas retail, fondos de inversión (España y Lux), SICAV, SIF, Unit Link).
• Experiencia previa: Mínima de dos años en departamento de Back-Office. Se valorarán conocimientos de RD-Fronton.
