Who you'll be working with? Our specialism is working with the retail and consumer sector; handling claims arising from the operation of motor fleets as well as the casualty claims arising from retail operations. We work with a range of corporate and insurer clients and are proud to act for household names and to work with major UK retailers. • Interpersonal skills - communication skills to liaise with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues on the phone and in person.
  • Analytical skills - The ability to critically look at factual evidence, identify key legal arguments and apply the same.
  • Commercial sense - The ability to know the principle or law but also know when it is worth pursuing it.
  • Resilience - The ability to stand your ground in a telephone negotiation and to receive feedback.

What you will do
  • Be responsible for a varied caseload of volume pre-litigated work.
  • Review claims assessing who's at fault and the level of compensation within authority limits.
  • Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation within client service standards.
  • Maintain contact with our clients and their customers while proactively managing their expectations.
