Main Responsibilities

As an Engineering Lead within the Omnichannel Marketing organization, you will have a critical role in ensuring the delivery, stability, security, and performance of Sanofi’s global web platform which is operating around 400 websites. Experience

• Solid years of experience (or equivalent knowledge) in digital and a key role in Software Engineering in the Cloud (preferably AWS)

• Strong technical expertise in CI/CD pipeline management, and cloud-native operations.
• At ease with web ecosystems and the challenges of managing hundreds of sites.
• A data-driven and problem-solving mindset to solve complex challenges

Technical Requirements

• Experience with one or more of the major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, or similar

Senior Backend Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in backend engineering, to join our fast-growing international scale-up. Our company's platform empowers thousands of users worldwide, and as we continue scaling at high speed, this role will be key in designing scalable backend systems.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience in backend engineering, with deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails, APIs, and distributed systems. They should also be familiar with React or other modern frontend frameworks, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and UI frameworks.

This position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where you can work closely with Product, Design, and Customer Care teams, delivering robust, observable, and well-documented solutions.
