We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong technical foundation, leadership capabilities, and a hands-on approach to quality assurance in modern software development environments.
The ideal candidate will have a solid QA foundation, combined with automation skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to mentor junior team members while driving test excellence across projects.
- Promote a quality-driven culture by applying shift-left strategies and early QA involvement in requirements, use cases, and static testing
- Create and maintain test plans, test cycles, test cases, and automated test suites covering integration, system/E2E, regression, and exploratory testing
- Work with developers, product owners, and QA peers to define test strategies, estimate efforts, ensure coverage, and maintain traceability
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps practices
- Guide junior QA engineers, fostering best practices, continuous learning, and effective teamwork
- Maintain clear and structured test documentation in JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr
- Proactively address challenges and team dynamics with assertive communication and problem-solving skills
Certifications:
- ISTQB Foundation Level (required)
- ISTQB Test Manager (desirable)
Testing expertise:
- Strong experience in test case design, test automation, and QA reporting activities
Technical skills:
- Scripting languages: Shell, Python, Java, JavaScript
- Databases and SQL: basic knowledge
- Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP
