Overview
Prime Video brings together the world’s best creators with the most passionate communities in a way that no other entertainment brand can. Not only are we a home for buzzworthy original content, including The Boys, Reacher, The Summer I Turned Pretty and Saltburn, we also serve as an entertainment destination to view live sports, watch other streamers, rent / purchase titles, and dive into our extensive library of content. Extending beyond the Prime Video platform, Amazon provides a multi-dimensional experience that allows subscribers to fully immerse themselves in their fandom: to read the book, to listen to the soundtrack, to buy the costume, to replay live sports in real time, and more. And that breadth and connection to the Amazon family of brands, along with the support of a passionate and diverse global team, makes Prime Video a uniquely positioned place to develop and grow professionally.
We are seeking an experienced Localization Producer in our Madrid, Spain-based Central Marketing Localization team. You will track assigned series or movies marketing campaign delivery progress while overseeing the processing of required assets from third-party production facilities through Amazon’s contracted vendors for localization, mastering, and delivery to Prime Video — ensuring critical global release timetables are met. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining various schedules, keeping vendors and regional POCs up-to-date as creative materials are finalized, tracking localization progress, organizing assets for final delivery to content publishing, troubleshooting any upstream or downstream rejections, and assessing and acting on customer feedback.
Responsibilities- Liaise between Studios Production, Marketing and third-party localization vendors on work related to the translation / adaptation, graphics localization and versioning of Amazon MGM Studios / Prime Video Originals marketing campaigns for global launch — streamlining operations and achieving alignment across a variety of global vendor and internal teams.
- Track series or movies campaign delivery progress, overseeing the processing of all required assets from third-party facilities through Amazon’s contracted vendors for end-to-end ownership of localization and delivery to Prime Video (PV) — ensuring critical global release timetables are met.
- Oversee project delivery calendars, keeping vendors and regional contacts up-to-date as escalations or significant rejections occur. Ensure high profile content is finalized, troubleshooting upstream or downstream rejections, and assess and acting on customer feedback.
- Work with the Localization Billing team to track and monitor expenditures for all localization related work, including identifying opportunities for cost savings and improvement on current practices.
- Apply an in depth knowledge of current industry standards and formats, best practices in post production and cultural sensitivities within a global ecosystem. Be an advocate for localization while innovating for a global audience.
You will liaise between current production and third-party localization vendors on work related to translation / adaptation, graphics localization and versioning of Amazon Originals marketing campaigns for global release — whilst helping to streamline and achieve alignment across a variety of global vendors as well as internal teams (including Mastering, Strategy, Post, and Production). You will also work with the Localization Billing team to track and monitor expenditures for all localization related work. You will handle an administrative day-to-day whilst collaborating and contributing to process planning and rollouts for future growth potential and efficiency.
