What you'll be doing
The role
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Angular) , you will work on developing and improving the frontend platform, created with Angular, NX monorepo, module federation, webpack and our own design system. You will collaborate with engineers, UX designers, and product owners to create intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with our backend services.
We are strengthening and modernizing our platform to make it fully cloud-native, leveraging AWS services, event-driven architectures, BFF architecture and microservices as the foundation for all future products. We’re rolling out a new microfrontend-based client that uses modern frameworks and integrates with our new design system.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the frontend of our applications.
- Work on implementing new features while ensuring accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing ui components in our design system.
- Contribute to the evolution and integration of our design system into the new frontend.
- Ensure smooth integration between the frontend and backend services.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards.

**Overview**
The Engineering Team employs some of the top engineering talent who are constantly working to improve processes, quality and techniques, with the goal of producing the highest quality software solutions in the industry. The lines between traditional QA and software engineering are blurred here, with quality being considered at all stages of development.
Our team is comprised of very talented and highly motivated individuals, who pride themselves on working smarter, not harder. As a Software Engineer for our Network Discovery team, you are responsible for writing efficient, well-structured, and maintainable code, setting an example for other engineers as a subject matter expert, mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers. You work closely with our lead designers and architects to drive our product forward and to ensure the scalability, maintainability and performance of our product suite.
**Responsibilities**
+ Provide guidance on system architecture decisions, making sure the technical direction aligns with business goals.
+ Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed, identifying potential issues, and mentoring junior developers in improving their coding skills.
+ Provide technical guidance, share knowledge, and help junior and mid-level engineers grow in their roles by reviewing their work and offering constructive feedback.
+ Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of software projects and alignment across departments.
+ Be able to break down large, complex tasks into smaller, manageable components and distribute them among team members.
+ Play a key role in agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and prioritization of tasks.
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and clients, to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
+ Handle complex technical challenges, debugging, and resolving issues that may be beyond the scope of junior engineers.
+ Participate in on-call rotation to support the "you build it you own it" mantra
+ Utilize AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development cycles, improve code quality, and enhance problem-solving capabilities while maintaining code ownership and understanding.

**Qualifications**
Minimum Qualifications
+ 2+ years' experience developing in either Typescript or Rust
+ Demonstrated ability to leverage AI coding assistants effectively while maintaining code quality and understanding
+ Advanced expertise with Angular or similar modern front-end frameworks, including experience with modern development workflows enhanced by AI tools
+ Strong verbal and written English communication skills
+ Experience developing web applications, working with databases, and consuming APIs
+ Understanding of relevant software development tools including version control, build processes and test frameworks
+ Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field
+ Proficiency in both TypeScript and Rust; Python experience is a plus
+ Extensive experience architecting, building, and optimizing AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3, OpenSearch, RDS and others)
+ Use of source code repositories such as Azure DevOps and Git
+ Experience with Infrastructure as Code using either CloudFormation or Terraform
+ Experience working with NoSQL databases
+ Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques for high scale systems
+ Experience working with development teams in multiple time zones
+ Proven track record of creating secure and scalable software that scales to dozens or hundreds of servers in a distributed, fault tolerant manner

For our specialized team, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, with at least 6 years of experience in the position.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll take technical ownership of critical systems and drive architectural direction across multiple teams. In our agile, DevOps-centric environment, you’ll lead the end-to-end lifecycle of high-impact services—shaping design, delivery, and operations—while mentoring engineering leads and influencing best practices at scale.
Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
o Lead cross-team design reviews, ensuring alignment with performance, security, and scalability goals.
- DevOps & Delivery Excellence
Champion observability, resilience, and “everything as code” across infrastructure and deployments.
- Own the delivery of major features, coordinating with Product, UX, and Operations to meet business objectives.
Act as a senior technical liaison for stakeholders—translating strategic goals into actionable roadmaps.
- Quality & Engineering Standards
Establish and enforce coding standards, testing requirements (TDD/BDD), and performance benchmarks.
Introduce and evangelize new tools, frameworks, and processes that elevate team productivity and code quality.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers—guiding career growth, architectural thinking, and technical decision-making.
6-9+ years building and scaling distributed systems in agile/DevOps organizations.
~ o BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience).
- Expert in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Avro).
Strong frontend acumen with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API-first integration (OpenAPI).
Deep familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration, container security, and infrastructure as code.
- Proven track record designing for high availability, performance, and maintainability.
Skilled at performance tuning, capacity planning, and defining non-functional requirements.
- Exceptional English communication—able to articulate complex technical strategies to executives and engineers alike.
