- Key responsibilities
- Tareas administrativas: apoyar a las emisiones de proyectos, contratos, recibos.
- Seguimiento mensual del resultado de las cuentas.
- Apoyo en la elaboración de estudios de siniestralidad.
- Contacto con nuestra red comercial para apoyar en tareas administrativas.
- Análisis de condicionados, slips de reaseguro.
- Regularizaciones periódicas, emisiones de recibos.
- Control, seguimiento y orden de las emisiones.
- Prácticas de 6 meses en horario part-time de lunes a viernes de 9h a 14h.

Overview
MANAGER POLITICAL AND CREDIT RISK - INSURANCE BBVA BROKER (LONDRES) – Based in our London office. Part of BBVA BROKER, you will shape and manage the strategic and global vision for insurance, ensuring knowledge of market trends, products, and services. Your mission is to design and implement insurance solutions tailored to the needs of BBVA’s Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) area.
This role operates at the intersection of structured finance and the insurance market within an international environment and involves leading relationships with insurers and brokers in London and coordinating with CIB teams to use insurance as a tool to mitigate, distribute, and cover risks related to financing transactions.
Responsibilities- Lead the full lifecycle of insured transactions from origination through to maturity, collaborating with Distribution, Legal, Restructuring, and Hubs.
- Oversee relationships with insurers and brokers based in London; identify and leverage synergies between UK and Spanish markets to support BBVA BROKER’s insurance strategy.
- Coordinate global networks, share best practices on products, services, technology, and structuring of insurance and reinsurance solutions; define innovation strategy and strategic monitoring metrics.
- Define and monitor metrics, methodologies, and strategic analyses to support business monitoring and transformation projects, focusing on digital capabilities and solutions.
- Manage underwriting risk and pension schemes in areas of operation; act as internal consultant for employee benefits related to insurance and retirement plans.
- Structure and place Credit and Political Risk insurance coverage for Corporate & Investment Banking transactions; negotiate with insurers and oversee risk distribution, mitigation, and underwriting.
- Collaborate with Distribution, Legal, Restructuring, and other units to provide ad-hoc analyses and strategic reviews as needed.
- At least 5 years of experience in the insurance sector as a broker or underwriter.
- Knowledge of Lloyd's market and Company Markets carriers.
- Leadership, proactive and dynamic approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities with internal teams and the insurance market.
- Detail-oriented with commercial mindset; strategic thinker capable of problem solving.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- High proficiency with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Willingness to travel.

Your mission will be to design and implement insurance solutions tailored to the needs of BBVA’s Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) area.
Based in our London office , you will serve as BBVA BROKER’s representative for all insurance-related requirements linked to financing transactions that need to be transferred to the insurance market. You will act as a key liaison with CIB teams that utilise insurance as a tool to mitigate, distribute, and cover risks.
In addition, you will lead the relationship with insurers and brokers based in London, fostering long-term strategic partnerships. You will identify and leverage synergies between the UK and Spanish markets to support BBVA BROKER’s business strategy in this insurance field.
You will oversee the full lifecycle of insured transaction s, working in collaboration with relevant teams — including Distribution, Legal, Restructuring, and Hubs — from origination through to maturity.
This role presents a unique opportunity to occupy a key position at the intersection of structured finance and the insurance market, within a dynamic and international environment .
We are seeking professionals with solid experience in structuring and placing Credit and Political Risk insurance coverage .
You should have a solid track record in structuring insurance coverage for Corporate and Investment Banking transactions and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities in engaging teams responsible for risk distribution, mitigation, and underwriting within the insurance market.
Solid negotiation capabilities with insurers are key, particularly for structuring and placing Credit and Political Risk cover in complex transactions.
Knowledge of risk mitigation instruments employed by financial institutions is highly valued.
- At least 5 years of experience in the insurance sector as a broker or underwriter.
- Lloyd's market knowledge and Company Markets carriers.
- Leadership, communicative, proactive and dynamic person.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish strong relationships with the team and the insurance market.
- Detail-focused and commercially minded
- Strategic thinker, highly adaptable and resourceful in problem solving
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- High knowledge of Google -suite tools (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
- Willingness to travel.
- University degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics or other equivalent.
- Languages; Spanish is required and a high level in English.
