Role Mission: Provide operational support for global pharmacovigilance activities related to Grifols' investigational and marketed products. Ensure high-quality pharmacovigilance deliverables that comply with global regulatory reporting timelines. Manage project implementation and execution of safety systems, including ongoing business support and continuous improvement initiatives. Act as a key liaison with IT system administrators to validate and test system changes, ensuring compliance and alignment with business needs.
**What your responsibilities will be**
+ Lead and coordinate safety data analysis for aggregate reports preparation, signal management and ad hoc requests.
+ Support drug safety systems through business administration tasks, including database configuration updates, submission rules management and testing with regulatory authorities.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert in delivering and evaluating cost-effective, sustainable solutions that meet business requirements.
+ Manage documentation related to PV systems and applications, including SOPs, WPs, user requirements, functional/ technical specifications and process flow diagrams.
+ Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and support the integration of new applications within the PV team.
+ Collect, prioritize and plan system improvements based on user feedback, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Act as the primary PV contact for IT-related PV projects.
+ Drive Innovation through AI in Pharmacovigilance: Stay at the forefront of artificial intelligence advancements to identify and evaluate innovative technologies and processes that can enhance pharmacovigilance operations. This includes proactively assessing AI-driven tools and methodologies to improve signal detection, case processing, data analysis and regulatory compliance. Collaborate cross-functionally to pilot and implement solutions that increase efficiency, accuracy, and strategic value in safety monitoring.
**Who you are**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. + You have a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences (pharmacy, nursing, medicine, veterinary, etc) or Bioscience (biochemistry, biotechnology, biology, etc). Additional training and/or experience in bioinformatics/biostatistics or data analysis tools (such as R or Power BI).
+ You have at least 4 years of pharmacovigilance experience including management of pharmacovigilance data bases.
+ You have proven knowledge of Good Pharmacovigilance Practices; existing legislation, regulations, guidelines, medical coding and safety-data administration.
+ You are proficient in Windows and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word).
+ Familiarity with reporting tools such as Business Objects is strongly preferred.
+ You have knowledge of E2b (R2) and E2b (R3) and to be familiarity with medical terminology, MedDRA, WhoDrug are a plus.
+ You speak fluent Spanish and English.
+ You are proven self-starter with strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgment.
+ You must be proactive, results oriented and have strong attention to detail.
+ Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make structured decisions on a routine basis.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and collaborate with personnel at all levels in a team environment.
+ You possess strong technical writing and communication skills with ability to create and present design proposals, test scripts, execute training sessions and conduct effective meetings.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to ensure successful completion targeted deadlines.

  • Administer Power BI Service and generate reports.
  • Work in a Cloud environment (Azure) and its components.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Microsoft Business Intelligence Consultant.
  • Proven experience with SSIS, Power BI, SSAS, and SQL Server.
  • Strong experience in data modeling (both relational and dimensional models).
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and ETL processes (SSIS, T-SQL, process auditing, data integration).
  • Experience in requirements gathering and functional analysis.
  • Languages: Spanish and English .

Funciones:

  • Utilización y mejora de los informes existentes y desarrollo de nuevo reporting sobre los indicadores clave de gestión (KPI).
  • Soporte en el análisis de información al equipo de Ventas.
  • Generación de objetivos por Representante y Area Manager a partir de las directrices de venta designadas por el Top Management y seguimiento sobre los mismos.
  • Desarrollo de herramientas que permitan el control y el análisis de las diferentes campañas promocionales proponiendo mejoras al Business Analysis Manager y colaborando con las áreas de Marketing y Ventas.
  • Desarrollo y presentación de informes de ventas para diferentes departamentos de la compañía (back office, marketing y finanzas)
  • Realización de un análisis semanal y trimestral de las ventas de la compañía, presentando conclusiones y acciones de mejora al Business Analysis Manager.
  • Creación e implementación de reporting para el seguimiento del Forecast del equipo comercial.
  • Diariamente, dará apoyo en la extracción datos de los sistemas de información de la compañía (Business Objects, SAP) para preparar el cuadro de mandos que enviará al Top Management, así como a los departamentos interesados.
  • Gestión de bonus de clientes: seguimiento comercial, provisión financiera y abono.
  • Estar cursando un Máster o Grado en Big Data, ADE, ingeniería o similar. Posibilidad de firmar un convenio con tu escuela o universidad.
  • Experiencia previa de prácticas en un puesto similar.
  • Dominio avanzado de Excel y Power Point.
  • Valorable conocimientos de Business Objects y SAP Reporting.
  • Capacidad analítica y orientación a resultados.
  • Nivel de español nativo o bilingüe. Nivel avanzado de inglés. Conocimientos de italiano serán valorados positivamente.

MISSION

  • Tool & Platform Management: Manage BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau,) and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Hadoop, MySQL, Data lake). Evaluate new BI technologies and tools to improve capabilities and cost-efficiency.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the BI team, including data analysts, report developers, and data engineers.

Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in BI, data architecture, or analytics roles.
  • 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modelling, and ETL development.
  • Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehouses.

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience in data modeling, dashboard development, and optimizing data pipelines to support reporting and analytics.

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights
  • Optimize and maintain data models and warehouses for efficient querying and reporting
  • Develop and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines to support BI and analytics solutions
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all reporting solutions
  • Automate data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes for efficiency
  • Work with cloud-based BI solutions (AWS) and databases (SQL, Snowflake)
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to drive data initiatives
  • Meet regularly with the line manager to review progress
  • Manage issue resolution and critically escalate
  • Work effectively with other teams, units, and departments
  • Manage issues with clarity and ensure effective information flow and team working
  • Support other organization's priority activities, when necessary
  • Act as an Omilia ambassador

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
  • Excellent professional level knowledge of English
  • 2+ years of experience in BI development, data visualization, or data analytics
  • Strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, etc.)
  • Experience in SQL for data extraction and transformation
  • Knowledge of ETL / ELT processes and data pipeline management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Nice to have :

  • Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and automation
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, Google BigQuery, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud BI tools (AWS QuickSight, Google Data Studio, Azure Synapse, etc.)
  • Experience with data governance, cataloging, and security best practices as well as Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
  • Exposure to machine learning workflows or advanced analytics
  • Experience with data cataloging and metadata management
  • Knowledge of ML, NLP and predictive analytics concepts

Responsibilities
Participate in all stages of the project development lifecycle such as requirements gathering, implementation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, etc.Design and implement ETL processes using different ETL tools.Manage BI tools to perform good logical models.Develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards.
Requirements
Ideally Computer Science Engineering, Informatics, Statistics or other degree with interest in the Business Intelligence field.Fluent English both written and spoken.Minimum of 3 years of experience in the BI field with the ability to:Understands the ETL process and develops mappings according to it (experience with any of these tools: Informatica, SSIS or ODI).Proficient in making SQL queries to contrast the development.Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure.Customer oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills.Proactive, team player, committed and constant willingness to improve.Analytical, problem solving and creative.Able to pick up on new data tools and concepts quickly.Excited about international business experience.
