Responsibilities- Provide strategic guidance for Relational Database Hosting services
- Manage projects related to Database Hosting services
- Support Service Owner and Team Lead in delivering UNICC Service Delivery Agreements (SDAs)
- Coordinate, prepare, present and implement proposals and projects linked to SDAs
- Act as a go-to expert for troubleshooting database-related issues
- Manage, prioritize and take ownership of tasks (service requests, change requests, incidents, project tasks, etc.)
- Monitor tasks assigned to the Database team and ensure completion within SLA targets
- Design, install, configure and support database infrastructures
- Administer and support database systems (storage provisioning, VM provisioning, patching, upgrading)

Descripción del empleo
Buscamos un/a profesional Senior Oracle Database Administrator para colaborar en el marco de proyectos internacionales de una organización referente en su sector de actividad. Brindarás soporte continuo para servicios de bases de datos relacionales e implementarás mejoras de servicio para los socios de la organización en entornos locales y en la nube.
Entre las funciones del día a día se encuentran:
- Proporcionar orientación estratégica para los servicios de alojamiento de bases de datos relacionales, según sea necesario.
- Gestionar proyectos para servicios de alojamiento de bases de datos relacionales.
- Asistir al propietario del servicio y al líder del equipo en la entrega de los Acuerdos de Prestación de Servicios.
- Asistir en la coordinación, preparación, presentación e implementación de propuestas y proyectos relacionados.
- Supervisar y asumir la responsabilidad de las tareas asignadas al equipo de base de datos, asegurando su cumplimiento dentro de los objetivos.
- Diseñar, instalar, configurar y dar soporte a la infraestructura de bases de datos.
- Administrar y dar soporte a los sistemas de bases de datos, incluyendo el aprovisionamiento de almacenamiento, el aprovisionamiento de máquinas virtuales, la aplicación de parches y las actualizaciones
- Implementar copias de seguridad, bases de datos en espera y monitorización.
- Asistir en el diseño, desarrollo, implementación y mantenimiento de tareas de automatización de bases de datos mediante Ansible o cualquier otra herramienta de automatización.
- Realizar clones de bases de datos y tecnología de copias de seguridad/instantáneas/clonación/replicación.
- Brindar soporte de guardia (ya sea in situ o de forma remota mediante conectividad VPN) fuera del horario laboral normal, según sea necesario de forma rotativa.
- Brindar soporte para la configuración/arquitectura, incluyendo la configuración de la monitorización, las alertas y los scripts/interfaces para los sistemas de Help Desk.
- Gestionar NAS/LUN para su uso con bases de datos relacionales y sistemas relacionados.
- Coordinarse con el soporte de bases de datos del proveedor para la resolución de problemas e incidentes relacionados con las bases de datos.
- Realizar actividades de resolución de problemas y ajuste del rendimiento según sea necesario
- Aplicar parches, actualizaciones y Realizar actualizaciones.
- Ayudar en la planificación y ejecución de pruebas de recuperación.
Requisitos
Para ello, nos gustaría que aportaras:
- Amplia experiencia en administración de bases de datos, incluyendo actualizaciones y parches.
- Buen conocimiento de uno o más servicios en la nube: Oracle (OCI), Amazon (AWS), Microsoft (Azure), Google (GCP), etc.
- Familiarización con productos en la nube como Oracle Database Cloud, Oracle Exadata Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance y AWS RDS, etc.
- Amplio conocimiento y experiencia en soporte técnico en tres o más de los siguientes productos: Oracle Exadata, Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Dataguard, Oracle RMAN, soluciones de alta disponibilidad, incluyendo la tecnología SQL Server, Failover Clustering (FCI) y Grupos de Disponibilidad (AG), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS) y Master Data Services, última versión de Oracle Enterprise Manager, incluyendo instalación, configuración, parches y actualizaciones, buenos conocimientos de scripting con Linux shell, PowerShell, Oracle, Transact-SQL u otras herramientas de automatización.
- Nivel de inglés de al menos B2.
